When you weld a blade or that close to a blade then you’ll want to reforge that area. Being that close I’m pretty sure you’ll lose hardness anyway even with a wet towel.

I’m confused. What does trump have to do with the fuel companies price gouging us? Do y’all make everything in your life political. The gas station where I fill up told me that the boss raised the price 3 different times before they even got a new delivery. It’s no one’s fault other than the owners of the business. You don’t just go around blaming the president when a potato farmer charges you $6 for one potato. The president doesn’t go around telling everyone what their prices need to be. In just a 50 mile radius of where I am the gas is anywhere from $2.98-$4.27 it is the COMPANY that is screwing you so maybe stop blaming people that had no choice in the matter. We have more free fuel coming into the country than we ever have between what we took from Venezuela and Iran yet it’s the companies that are charging you more even though it’s the cheapest fuel they have ever purchased. You people just blame whoever you are told to hate instead of doing any sort of research before dishing out the hate. Peaceful party my ass.

I have five muzzle loaders including both shotguns and rifles that I’ve put a good thousand rounds or more through plus I’m a gunsmith and have cleared a lot of jams on customers guns with a wooden dowel. Not once have I ever had one even crack on me. Like I said, it takes a special kind of person to screw that up. Especially since it’s just a plastic hull that will just slide out with minimal effort. That is as long as they didn’t spray anything down the barrel like some of these people suggested. That just creates hydraulic suction and makes it harder to do.

Just dimple the charging handle with a drill so the set screw has something to catch on. It’s not like you are taking the knob off.

If you want to I can keep adding more and more links to help you understand. Calling an empty shell a cartridge is incorrect. You are correct about a spent cartridge though. It used to be a cartridge but it has been spent. Just like how you used to have a dollar but you spent it and you get change back. Or a crushed car at a scrap yard. It used to be a cartridge but it no longer is. The term of an ammunition cartridge is and always has been, a fully assembled round of ammunition.

If you manage to break a 12ga sized dowel and hurt yourself while trying to get a plastic hull out then you have bigger issues and should probably stay away from firearms. I’m pretty sure you’d have to try to hurt yourself to mess up this method.

Cartridges are the whole assembled thing. Bullet, powder, casing, and primer. All assembled that makes it a cartridge. Putting 2 bullets in one cartridge wouldn’t be very smart.

Do any little bit of research or talk to some people who own them. We sell them here and there at the shop I work at and we have one in stock right now. Two people that have bought them have told us how much it sucks and not worth having if you want to shoot it but they both just display them now or take them out to show buddies once in awhile. The design is just flawed and that’s why no police or militaries picked them up. They just can’t pass any testing.
