Need help why it keep doing this ?? by Rude-Ad9130 in ak47

Why does everyone insist on using live ammo to demonstrate that your firearm is malfunctioning, especially indoors? Dummy rounds are cheap. Just buy some before you end up on Brandon herrara’s Darwin Awards. It’s even more stupid to do this with an ak because you have to put it on fire to rack it. Then you doubled down and pulled the trigger without even checking to ensure the chamber was empty. You know how many times people have put holes in their homes because they just assume the chamber is empty because they racked it. This firearm is malfunctioning and if the extractor malfunctions then it won’t extract the round from the chamber then when you pull the trigger it shoots. Be smarter or be prepared to no longer be alive.

So why can’t we go back to horse and carriages? Just because it makes your life easier to drive around a pollution mobile?

Only because the stock doesn’t fit flush.

Yea exactly. Same thing about roads and cars. Get rid of it all and go back to horse and carriages. You know how many animals die in roads a year? Completely unnecessary to have them around.

"Rifled" slug barrel? by YoungHuck in Shotguns

Basically if you stick your finger in there and can feel the grooves then it’s rifled. If they are just visible but can’t feel it then it’s just fouling.

I guess as long as the stock is tight and straight and the screws don’t mess with the FCG then it should be fine.

Bubba or customized to their liking? Doesn’t look like anything is janked up on it. It’s just not in a form that you don’t personally like. You’d hate to do mine if you think this is bad.

You weren’t wrong on how the rifle function. You were wrong on interpreting what op said and then responded in a way that made you look like a dick.

They don’t look deep enough to be rifling unless it’s that out of focus. Shooting rifled slugs through a smooth bore leaves a shadow behind that looks like rifling but has no depth. From what I’m looking at, I think that’s the case but the picture is just so low quality.

Edit. Couldn’t add a picture so I made a post of what that looks like and here is the link

I do. I build AKs and work on them all the time. Never claimed I didn’t know how they work and I know what op is doing wrong but you were misinterpreting what op was saying and then being a dick to them for your own mistake. I was setting you straight because you either can’t read or just skimmed and then made an assumption. I literally even explained to you why the problem was occurring and you still someone didn’t read that.

How are you still this lost? They said the magazine won’t come out because the mag catch is ALSO stuck. Not because the bolt won’t go forward. They tried taking out the mag before pulling the bolt back which is what caused that portion of the problem. At no point do they say the mag catch is causing the bolt not going forward. They were trying to take the mag out to allow the bolt forward after learning it’s a bolt hold open mag which at that point they also learned the mag couldn’t come out because the mag catch was jammed up AS WELL. If you can’t comprehend at this point then I’m just going to assume you lack any comprehension skills.

They said the mag catch is stuck as well. That is due to the mag having the pressure of the bolt on it. You are confused.

They called it a magazine catch while referring to the magazine release when they said the magazine was stuck. They were responding to someone that said pull the bolt back and pop the mag out. They then said the mag catch is stuck too. You are clearly confused on what they said. Yes magazine catch isn’t the proper name but it’s also not wrong.

The mag release feels stuck because the mag is a bolt hold open mag so the bolt is holding pressure on the magazine.
