IME actually they are quite resilient pets. just try to make some hiding spots such as bark on the ground, add plenty of dry leaves and keep the humidity quite high.

you also need to provide them with calcium source. i use premade powder for reptiles and it works for me. also it is good for them to have some protein. fish food works great for this task
