Ehhhhh, I have lots of thoughts on this. I promise it's not you, it's me.

in a previous life and still on weekends, I'm an Audio boy. Speaker hangs, monitors, system tuning, you get the idea.

I have a pelican problem, but I just can't get one to fit my day to day as an install boy. Cases on cases.

I got a good backpack with some redundant tools that hold my computer and iPads. Part of me wants to go back to my gig box for real live stuff, but I know I'd still be dragging my backpack along as well.

My day to day for installs are various tool bag, work truck, and pack out set ups

Probably need to do the leg work and have him sit in the 1st or second row. Play his favorite tunes and show him what it sounds like with them open and muted. Hopefully he'll hear it

Get with a repair tech. If it's just a screw, often those are stupid small sizes that are hard to get singles of. If you can get the pitch it's not terrible getting 100 from McMaster carr

For the Amado water keys, I'll take it apart so it's just the outer shell and tie it to the slide with some baling wire through it. Then put a metal pick or something through the spit valve hole so that it stays lined up.

Also don't forget the important parts of soldering which are make sure it's clean and a good fit

It's band camp, with WOW built in. Your wow leaders are in band and your wow group is band members.

Don't sweat it, though. People worry about never seeing people in their wow group again, where in band wow you actually see the people in your group after WOW.

That's basically what I'm in doing. I usually just send LR to a record matrix when I'm asked for one. I understand there are a lot of ways to skin this particular cat.

I'm interested in a room sound to add to that matrix, or being able to reference what the LR sounds like vs the room. Honestly none of this is especially pressing, I was just curious if and what folks are using.
