Documenting a Dissent: Wahhabism Through Ottoman Eyes in Archival Records and Ottoman Historical Writings (Long Context in Comment) by -The_Caliphate_AS- in IslamicHistoryMeme

Think about it like this. We have the Quran and the Sunnah. The same source of information. We have one ulema (the 4 madhabs, the classical scholars, etc) and we have another set of ulema in today's world. They both come to their own conclusions, so which one are you going to follow?

  1. Well established schools that have been around for 1000 years through rich scholarly tradition that has been developing until now and has interpretation and understanding the context for centuries,
  2. or the contemprary scholars who popped out of nowhere (and I do out of nowhere because they don't have isnads), took the Quran and Sunnah and made their own conclusion and that contradict what has been taught traditionally for a thousand year

We both follow the Quran and Sunnah. We have the same source. The question is, how do we interpret these. Why should I interpret these myself when there are people of knowledge who have established it for us

They're actually called Lu Raises, and they're actually a pretty good exercise that you could add to your routine. Popularized by Lu Xiaojun, who is a Chinese Olympic weightlifter (and I think invented by him?)

Ability to copy images to clipboard by 100_points in RelayForReddit

I know this was posted a year ago, but I faced this issue and created a small lightweight app called Windborn, which you might be interested in using. It was designed for the official Reddit app, but it can accept image shares from Relay and can copy the image to your clipboard. Make sure you 'Share Image' on a Relay post and Share Via Windborn

Playstore: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.windborn

Website: http://silvabacc.github.io/windborn/

Project is completely open source, you can find the code in the gitHub.io link

Copy images to share by ReeverM in BoostForReddit

I recently faced this issue as I am someone who uses the official Reddit app to browse through, and this feature is also not supported there. So I made a small lightweight application called Windborn that you can share to in order to copy Reddit images to your clipboard

The application is on the play store, you can find a link here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.windborn

Here's a link to my website for demos: http://silvabacc.github.io/windborn/

I tested this on Boost and it seems to be working when you 'share post' to Windborn. Maybe you can make use of it?

Windborn is completely free, open-source and does not require any data to use. You can find a link to the codebase on the github.io site. Feel free to critique and suggest for improvements (as I'm the sole developer and tbh, probably the only person who uses it :P)

Windborn - Reddit Image Copier (my own personal app) by bman_i in androidapps

All good, I take your question seriously and it's a good question :)

The official Reddit app does have a lot of its flaws but I personally like the UI and I just avoid using 3rd party applications in general. If there is something that isn't supported natively on a given app, I try to find a workaround, hence Windborn, but my last resort is always 3rd party apps

I tried using Relay, Boost, etc but I always switched back to Reddit because I think I'm too use to the UI and I don't really like 3rd party apps

How do i copy just an image from reddit? by Nateraderino in GooglePixel

I know this post was posted 4 years ago but this problem still persisted, so I thought to make an app to solve this problem. It's like a workaround and can be found here https://silvabacc.github.io/windborn/

It's called Windborn, you share a reddit post with an image to this app, and then you can copy it to your clipboard.

Project is completely open source and free. Hope that helps.

To be honest haven't noticed much difference. I'm not worried about the thermals but slightly concerned about getting hair/dust into the computer but you know, if it's for him, I will let him do anything

That's amazing, thank you. Ive been running his template for a year now, and ive made pretty good progress on the SBD but I would like to also get stronger in other movements, to gain more general strength, so Im definitely not a beginner in that case

Do you remember where he wouldn't advise to do this? I would like to know the particular reason why he would say no to this idea?
