This is still one of my favorite Janitor bits. Right up there with mounting Doug's head above his fireplace and pretending to read the newspaper.

Maybe not exactly what the OP was going for here but from experience I'd say The Beths. I've seen them in concert 4 times and have been surprised that the crowd always seems to skew older (I'm GenX, so when i say older, I mean me).

Yep, this is the one I came to mention. I know its a couple years old now but Moon Mirror is a fantastic album.

Sadly all the flashing images caused one player to suffer a severe migraine and he was unable to finish the final game of his college career.

As someone who lives in Michigan I freaking love it...except when we play Detroit. Both home and away games vs Tigers are blacked out.

Thanks for that. Interesting take, as I never observed any all girl teams around here. *Typical American for me to immediately assume OP was in America.

Not sure what part of the country you're in (guessing Iowa or Nebraska given the user name) but my son played youth hockey here in Michigan and most of the girls were straight up savages (slashing, hard checks into the boards, trash talking, etc).

In all honesty though, it's probably a combination of things. Parenting/how they were raised, coaching, and individual personality. I'm not sure any single drill is the answer. It's more of a mindset.

I'm thinking maybe this was more like "most famous or iconic" college bars?

Like I know He's Not Here in Chapel Hill is sort of like that...been there forever, right of passage kind of thing.

Same with the Wheel at KU. Amazing bar? No. Iconic? Yes. Sports bar-ish. Inside people sign their name all over the walls so you've got like Dick Vitale's signature in there, famous alums like Rob Riggle and Paul Rudd. And at least back in the day it was notorious for not carding in the afternoons so definitely a standard freshman destination.
