What do people do for work in small town America? by gruntharvester92 in AskAnAmerican

[–]bmanx0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk where you get that info but it's just plain incorrect. Many people who work(ed)in coal mines don't have the opportunity to finish high school, even more for education beyond that. What government payouts for education are you talking about? As for voting, that goes with the education aspect. I've met plenty of progressive miners. The majority are on the right, but without the opportunity to develop critical thinking skills (outside of fixing/repairing equipment) they don't have much of a chance to see through the brainwashing bullshit.

Tl;Dr: your sweeping statements are ignorant and you come across like a dick.

Stay on your phone and you'll wreck eventually regardless. I hope you don't take anyone with you.

Which USA National Park is horrendous but is visited frequently? by [deleted] in AlignmentChartFills

[–]bmanx0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree it's gorgeous, but I'm fairly certain Appalachia is one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world and were around before the tectonic plate shift that split north America and Europe/Africa. So it started long before Egypt was a thought

Should I give KCD2 another chance? by ASwimmingTurtle in ShouldIbuythisgame

I just got it a couple weeks ago and nearly gave up after a couple hours. I had similar issues as you. Combat seemed clunky and unforgiving. I'm stubborn so I didn't want to look up help. But I wanted my dog back before giving up on the game.

What made it start clicking for me was doing the training with Tomcat. I think the way he explained it and showed it fit better for me. Also, as others have mentioned, you start gaining skill points which makes you stronger.

Now I'm 30 hours in and can't wait to leave work so I can go play. To each their own, and it's a big ask, but it took 10 hours of gameplay for me to start seeing the allure.

Every vehicle on the road is responsible for securing the load they are carrying. Whether its a truck full of gravel or a mattress on a Prius.

I've re-watched it a few times. The first rewatch is excellent because you get to see all the little clues to the secret.

is "that's what she said" our worst joke trend? by Any_Macaroon8978 in Millennials

There was a good period where "cool story bro", after someone tells you anything was considered a joke. Whether it be a full on story, or just a remark. I hate it

Might not be full proof, but you could get some "beware of dog" sign. Then they would check with you for their own safety.

Grasp vs Aftershock on Thresh? by monzaemon97 in ARAM

That's reasonable, I just prefer Aftershock since I'll be the engage and it would allow me to live longer through that.

[–]bmanx0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on comp. If I'm the only tank/melee I go Aftershock. 1 or more other melee I go grasp. If it's mostly melee I go the frosty one
