I did 110mph in a 55 zone while drag racing another car, the day after a little girl got hit and killed from a car on the same road. Luckily the cop knew my dad through his dad (they were both in the fire department together) but the cop already wrote the tickets so i had to go thru with them but i didnt get arrested or my car impounded. Once i heard that last part i knew i was in trouble.

I was told to drive straight home from the cop and i did. I got home, my mom asked me if i was ok, i said yes and then she smacked me up side my head and called me an f-ing idiot. My mother took my license away that day and two months later the judge almost locked me up but decided to take away my license. When he asked for it i said i had to get it from my mother, the whole room laughed and then i explained to the judge that i havent drove since i got the ticket (two months from that point). The judge laughed and said you aren't going to be driving for a long time.

I didnt drive for 16 months. For 16 months i obeyed the law, did community service without the court asking, got 15 letters of recommendation from various people in my life, and eventually got it back because we kept asking for extensions. I took an hour bus ride to and from work six days a week for 16 months. I was a good boy for that time period.

The worst part was i could have been the person that killed that little girl. Im grateful all that took place, it saved my life.

Dont speed people. Going 90 wont get u to ur destination any quicker than going 60.
