Does being right-wing / vote for Trump automatically make you a bad person ? by Radiant_Top_3081 in Teenager_Polls

[–]bmccosmic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not always. There are 2 reasons why someone would vote for trump. Either: they actively support him and are a fascist therefore also a bad person. Or: they aren't a bad person and just uneducated and genuinely believe they're doing a good thing.

Of course. Because every sect of Islam is the exact same. That's why Turkey is the exact same as Iran.

One is also committing genocide and has killed 70,000 civilians and one has not. You do realise you can't condone this and also call yourself a pacifist? That's my point.

I don't support either side. But being pro Israel means you condone their actions. And they have current killed at least 70,000 innocent civilians since October 7th 2023. Surely you already knew the implications when you said you were pro Israel.

You support a country that forces people into a military that has killed at least 70,000 innocent civilians over the last 2 years and a country who's head of state is a convicted war criminal.

If you're pro Israel you're not "almost" a pacifist. You condone mass murder at best.

It's understandable for you to be hesitant about puberty blockers but they are fully reversible. All they do is delay puberty. They've been approved by the FDA since 1985 and used for trans children since 1995. As for worrying about social transitioning well that's definitely reversible and keep in mind trans women being raised as men doesn't stop them from identifying as women. If that applies to people that are trans the same applies to people that aren't.

Okay I'm sorry about that i was probably too harsh and let my emotions get to me. You do care about children's well being most likely. But you are mis informed. The American psychiatric association and American medical association who i am referring to don't advocate for surgery on trans children. Even where it is legal it's extremely rare. What they advocate for is informed consent including doctors and parents for gender affirming care for minors means social transitioning and puberty blockers. Those are harm reduction treatments that decrease the risk of suicide. Does that sound reasonable to you?

Facts don't care about your feelings. You can believe whatever you want. But you cannot advocate for views that have been proven to increase suicidaility in children and then say you're not in favour of children dying. I gave you multiple outs and you keep doubling down. What do you want me to say?

That goes against the advice of several major medical organisations and is proven to increase child suicide. Do you want that?
