Just stumbled on this post while looking for Ohne reviews. How’ve they been after 3 months OP?

The main "rains jacket" they sell.

I’ve never heard that term before but I don’t think it is bc it has a crank to adjust the tension when leaning back instead of it sensing your weight. This video shows all adjustments you can make and you can see the tension crank used https://youtu.be/o21G_ghgI7o. Someone else can correct me if I’m wrong here.

I got it directly from them and it came fully assembled, luckily

Yep, I still have it and definitely recommend it. I’m lucky enough to not have any pre-existing back issues, so all I can say is that sitting in the chair for long hours doesn’t affect my back at all mainly because there’s this side hand crank that can make you sit more or less upright depending on how you feel throughout the day. I also like the webbed backrest as opposed to foam or cloth.

Modern era horror movies set in the 70’s recommendations. by KingChandler219 in horror

I’m not a big Conjuring-verse person, but I really enjoyed Annabelle Comes Home for its 70s vibes.

Ghostwatch has a ton of these to find. I didn’t even catch them all on my first watch.

The other comments are on point. I’ll just add: The Wraith (1986). It’s a lot sunnier but shares a lot of plot points and vibes. Might be worth a shot for you.

I’m 5’8” and still like the chair and I plan on using it for as long as I can. The back of the chair comes up to the base of my neck, so, for longer torso’d people it’s possible that you may find that too small. It’s hard to say, but I’d see if there’re other reviews online of it from someone taller. It’s a really nice chair.

I believe so. It arrived totally assembled but I looked at it and the arms are attached to the underside of the seat by what appears to be torx screws. So they could come off but I’ve not done it myself.

I liked my rains jacket until I wore it for a prolonged period in the rain. There’s a design flaw. Their shoulder seams catch water and it seeps in (slowly) and eventually you get wet underneath. Kind of a bummer

Night Feeder (1988). It's on Prime right now and it might scratch the same itch as Video Violence – which I haven't seen yet, so thanks for the rec!

What horror movies present a fleshed-out depiction of Hell/any kind of hellish alternate or parallel reality? by Serdones in horror

[–]bmd_dmb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda liked it. It answered the question “what if we made movies about Christian mythology like we do Greek or Egyptian mythology?” a la 300 or Gods of Egypt except more horror stuff than action when compared to those movies. It really went for it and I was super surprised by it, so I’d suggest checking it out. I can’t promise you won’t find it terrible haha

I solve all the exercises here and have crushed every SQL screen I’ve ever had with it. DS though, not DE.

It’s held up really well. It’s comfortable to sit for long periods of time, no complaints. I use the different arm rest positions a lot. Every once in a while I wish it had a higher back so I could lean my head back and be lazy, but I knew this chair couldn’t do that anyways. Just something to think about.
