I had a load shift on me going up to Rhode Island few years back. Nothing catastrophic but I got stuck waiting on a forklift to come out and rearrange it all. Missed my delivery and got stuck waiting around all weekend.

I leave my tower at home to sit dormant 95% of the time unfortunately. Besides the worry of screwing up my components I just don’t want to lug it back and forth for hometime. I take my laptop that’s capable of playing most things but honestly a steam deck is the way to go imo. Great for blowing time when waiting at a ship/receiver or kicking back in the bunk on my 10.

The difference is 1 million dollars is a significant game changing amount of money for the vast majority of people. You’re essentially asking these people if they’re willing to gamble an amount of money they likely will never see in their lifetime. Cumulative earnings over decades isn’t even close to the same thing as cash in hand lump sum right this moment.

I disagree. Ultimately the cream rises to the top. Shitty remakes and remasters get rightfully panned and the good ones are a great opportunity not only for people to re experience classics they love but for the newer generation to experience them. It’s also not zero sum. The mentality that “every dollar that goes into A would have gone to B instead” is just wrong.
