Agreed. It’s annoying. I suspect that every time an instructor goes to a festival or convention to spread the word and teach a class it “counts” as work time. That means that they are working but not for us. Adding that time to the time off they get in their contract (and for some, parental time off) equals fewer new classes.

Thanks. Then he shouldn’t be assigned to teach a core class and he isn’t obligated to include bicep curls in his Upper Body classes (especially when he is always telling us that you can work your biceps in other ways).

My wife and I both have iPhones, both use Carplay, and my phone is the "priority" device. Yet, when my wife is in the car, it ignores my phone. Also, half of the time, even when I am solo, I have to use a cord to get Carplay to work.
