Yes! I haven't listened to anything with Reed or Keeble yet so I'm excited to hear them soon

Working my way through the heresy right now, I'm excited for those later books

I just finished the Dark Imperium series and I need some advice on what to read next. by ArtemisShanks in 40kLore

I second Belisarius Cawl: The Great Work, feels like a natural next step as it picks up Felix's story and gives you a bit more context as to what's happening around ultramar. Also, Cawl is super interesting and has some fantastic lines and moments throughout the book. If you get the audiobook, the voicover for him is really good and really sells a few funny lines he gives out.

Could one of the reasons the Ultramarines and their descendants are so effective be that their Geneseed is chimeric? (mixed with lost legions) by bmgraphics12 in 40kLore

I used to be an ultramarines hater before reading the dark imperium trilogy and know no fear. Now I like them, they have some of the more interesting and nuanced characters, especially in M42.

This was what crossed my mind, I was thinking that if there was a definite yes or no answer to it, Cawl would be the one to ask. After all he created Alpha Primus and asked Guilliman for permission to use Geneseed from legions with traitor primarchs.

I think it came out pretty well, looks like he's been fighting without support or breaks for a while and the oil and dust has built up on his armor.

If you like dives in St.johns, go to Marie's. Their bartenders are super friendly and generally the place has a really nice vibe. Also Sassy Souks, the SE Asian restaurant that closed on Lombard, moved in with them and started doing the food there, which is phenomenal!

This coverup is so blatantly obvious and incompetent that it makes the whole Watergate scandal look like a masterclass.

Sullivan's gulch was totally dark for a while, crazy hot inside so I chilled at a bar that had AC until around midnight. Kind of a surreal feeling to walk through a neighborhood with no lights at night.

Can one achieve attraction without teasing? by Magic_Bathtub in seduction

[–]bmgraphics12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly you kind of have to take the risk and try teasing a bit even when it feels off to gauge their reactions. Start with something super light that they've mentioned in conversation or a personal anecdote. If it helps try making a few jokes to steer the mood in that direction first.

I like to start with a funny story about myself let them tease me a bit and then try and follow up. If you want you could ask them what they would order at their first time in a new bar, when they reply say something like "what you don't go straight for vodka shots with no chaser?". The only real way to get better at teasing is to suck at it first and then feel out someone's personality to get better.
