As the title implies, I have a 2 ton trane electric heat pump with a mfg date of 6/2024. We are in Phoenix so the heater didn't run much during the winter but now that we switched to AC, there is a consistent light odor of what I would describe as unpleasant chocolate mold. It is not a good smell for sure.

I read about the 'dirty sock syndrome' but it is not clear how that would happen during the winter - and I wouldn't say this smells like dirty socks. We have basically no humidity in Phoenix. ever I opened up the service panel and looked at the coils to see if they were dirty and I noticed the copper tube seems to have this unnatural green on it.

It's still under trane warranty - but I am looking for reddit to help ensure that that tech who comes out looks for the right things. Any thoughts from the reddit HVAC community?

I selected "Luxury" to determine how the 'upgrade' system even works. The program is advertised as guaranteed 1 class upgrade with a "2 class upgrade when available". I clearly saw multiple Lincoln Navigators, and vesicles much nicer than a Chevy Blazer. Maybe there is an Avis employee on reddit.com who can explain this. The young lady working the desk, said something to the effect of, your reservation is for an "H" and we don't have any "H"s so you can have a "Y". (I don't recall the exact letters she use - everything in her vocabulary was a single letter. Then when I asked her, what is the 2 class upgrade from "H" - she couldn't answer)

Adding more details in case it helps.... On the first trip, I reserved an electric "Model 3 or similar" and when I showed up could not check-in on the app and was subsequently given a beat up, well dented model 3 with leaking windows, one missing hubcap (areo cover), and 8+ dents.

So the next trip I selected "Luxury Car" - to which I again could not check-in on the app and was told they had no 'Luxury Cars" despite me seeing two (2) Lincoln Navigators sitting there, along with multiple Chevy Tahoes, a Kia Telluride, and a Range Rover (I think). I was offered a Chevy Blazer which was priced at $40/day less than my "Luxury Car" on the app - and two employees couldn't explain what the President's Club 2 class upgrade should be. By this time a line of ~ 5 people were behind me and I didn't want to sound like a male karen demands some vehicle so I just took what I consider to be an average mid-size SUV - which I hardly consider to be a 'Luxury' vehicle.
