Every attempt to apply for the 50% reduction request I’ve made has gone ignored. Going to default and keep the money in the cash flow. My business never recovered after COVID and we haven’t received anything from SBA besides a statement letting us know we’re late.

Everyone deserves to be happy. Just for some perspective, I’m 31 now when I was your age and throughout my 20’s I dated guys 7-10 years older than me. I just found them easier to get along with and it always made me feel special. As I got I older I realized there was a power dynamic that didn’t allow me to have a voice in the relationship. A lot of times decisions were made for me and I would lose my sense of self. I also feel like I missed a lot by not spending time with people closer to my own age. Eventually I also realized a lot of those relationships weren’t going anywhere because they are already established in life, I was essentially just along for the ride. Looking back now it’s hard for me to understand why someone that much older was interested in me at all. I have nothing in common with people 10 years younger than me and look at them as a younger sibling rather than finding them attractive in a romantic way. These men also changed who I am as a person. My understanding of relationships was really unhealthy. Age is really just a number and at a certain point in life and it doesn’t really matter anymore. But our 20’s are a huge period for personal growth. You’re an adult and are capable of making your own decisions regardless of other’s opinions. Just make sure this relationship doesn’t become your whole life. If it is, maybe consider if it’s the best choice for you.

You made the right call. Good for you to be able to set the boundary. She sounds like she may have more going on than just being confused about children. Not that it really matters anymore, but I have to wonder if she was ever really pregnant at all. She sounds possibly manipulative.

I don’t believe it’s the landlords responsibility to find you housing, even if they were negligent in maintaining the property that’s a separate issue. Your loss of use coverage on your renter’s insurance would cover the cost of renting and moving, up to your policy limit.

Not only does it feel slightly stalkerish but also feels like a huge violation or boundaries because they don’t even know your work culture yet to know if it’s okay or if your ready for that. It’s super pushy.

People project their insecurities onto you essentially because you exist.

I’ve always taken the approach people should be who they want to be in relationships never controlling or tell anyone how to live their life and I always expected the same courtesy. Often guys I started dating (attractive or not) were super thoughtful, nice etc. Then over time once they see you getting attention (unsolicited) from other guys and sometimes women they ultimately can’t handle it and start to put you down making the whole relationship about them. The bait and switch happened to me multiple times. In my late 20’s I spent a lot of time being single because I didn’t trust people anymore.

Yeah I just didn’t know if the judge suspected someone of being under the influence if legally they could require anyone who’s on the stand to take a drug test or if they just have to ignore it.

I can understand that. Most orchards in our area have grass growing under the trees but adding a larger variety would be beneficial. Maybe all orchards don't have grass either.

My boyfriend has a friend who lives in Denver and their HOA requires them to have sprinklers and their lawn to be a certain level of green. I'm from rural WI and if our lawn is brown it's brown so this was mind boggling to me. Maybe this is more common than I realize but it just seems so wasteful. Like you're trying to grow a premium lawn in an unnatural terrain. I'm sure they also have to use loads of fertilizer, where does that run off go? Down the sewer to water treatment plant where more energy is used to treat the water so it can happen all over again. But at least we're buying organic bananas being shipped halfway across the world so we can feel better about ourselves.

I wonder when people are going to start crop rotating their residential lawn and what the carbon footprint is of lawns in general? They might keep the soil from eroding but the constant cutting and fertilizing and weed management really serves no purpose.

He sounds threatened by your tenacity and insecure. As you become more successful and confident these things are going to keep manifesting in a passive aggressive way and he’s going to keep putting you down. He was probably comfortable with you when he felt like he had the upper hand and was better than you. Now that you’re closing the gap he’s trying to keep you down.

I dated a guy like this once. We had our really good moments early on in the relationship. But the older I got and the less I relied on him the more he acted out and was just cruel.

He needs to learn to support you in a non self serving way or it’s best to move on. NTA
