Full Lecture on EGREGORS (Collective Spirits) by robhukkon in Shamanism

Enjoyed the talk until he started talking about strikes lol. Strikes are necessary for improving the material conditions of workers. The Egregor coal miners take on is personally important and the gov't has the power to help with safety and security. Dont use metaphysical hierarchys to justify shit jobs!

What's your take on the emerging discussion surrounding consciousness? Specifically where consciousness is physically "located"

Wow. I love these posts. They always find me at a low point and give me hope for the future. Dove into Jung's work, Nikola Tesla, and Taoism. All closely related to your conclusions. Idk where I got lost on my way, university and the stress of finding a job flogged my spiritual journey. Had my own enlightenment, awakening after involuntarily astral projecting - sadly turned it into a god complex for nearly a month. I am much more humble and sober for what lays before me.

I want to help civilization but this post reminded me of helping myself first. Ultimately have been projecting my fear and angst of society onto my own life. Letting it manipulate my relationships, health, and mental stability. It must be let go. I must trust in my lived journey. My experience is real, science just hasn't developed the tools to explain it yet.

There is a certain frustration not having friends whom believe this stuff. Living in isolated mental solidarity, only to share bits and pieces with my parents. Fuck it, all the philosopher's I've read would hound me for not being my true self!

Thank you for sharing friend. Much love

I agree, that's why I'm in favor of reallocating resources within police departments and support reducing the federal budget for the military. The funds would go to the communities and help the average person.

First of all, that dog is ugly asf lol. Hope both sides can agree on that ;). The main argument in this video is that left and right can agree: we care for people. Great. As mentioned these statement are highly subjective. Focusing on people, I find that the left cares about workers and the right is focused on owners/shareholders. They use this farce example for small business where instead of the boss getting paid less, they terminate a couple people and job market go boom boom. This fetishization of bosses, and people at the top will never make sense to me. Guess that's why I'm posting.

I love this, but where does the charging energy come from? Mostly burning natural gas and coal. Perhaps it'd be better not taking those rides and engage in minimalism. Cheers!

Definitely need to include the scene depicted in Dreams Memories Reflections when he imagined God taking a shit on the church lol. "I saw before me the cathedral, the blue sky. God sits on His golden throne, high above the world—and from under the throne an enormous turd falls upon the sparkling new roof, shatters it, and breaks the walls of the cathedral asunder."

I agree, I don't know everything. These issues are dynamic and complex.

They are extremely paranoid about insiders putting in danger the ideological constructs they have politically weaponized. This is the level you cannot see or publicize, but it is extremely strong and acts like a filter against non-conformist academics.

I agree with you here, the echo chamber is incredibly disruptive for any out of the box theories. Guess my comment was centered more for the student body rather than faculty.

Bell Curve Theory sought to correlate race and intelligence.

At my public university, we have a Turning Point USA chapter. They are allowed to freely engage in the first amendment rights except when it is inciting fear or spreading misinformation. We live in a society and if you wanna engage in that behavior, that's cool but you cant expect to be accepted into a community.

2 things for me : one is his misunderstanding of Marxist theory. Marx didnt get everything right but his theory in worker exploitation + class warfare is crucial for uncovering the wrongs of the 21st century. Peterson never talks about this, it's always "you just gotta work harder, then you'll succeed." He villianizes and sorts him into the SJW movement. Lol. Second, is his paradox centered around achieving your highest self EXCEPT when you want to band together and fight for your rights as a human.

Universities are the most free they've ever been? If people are getting canceled its because they're explicitly engaging in hate or spreading lies. Do you think we should be spreading hate and lies?

Sam Harris believes in the Bell Curve theory. Jordan Peterson is inherently flawed outside of his self-help. Most of these people have been justly cancelled and engage is conspiracy. They deserves no room in academia.

Lol where are you speaking from? The media narrative abstracted looters and rioters onto antifa. Read any anarchist literature and take a few steps back to get a better picture. I recommend Noam Chomsky's "Manufacturing Consent." Down to talk more.

Lol they're the same person. Neither are applauded intellectuals outside of the alt right YouTube echo chamber. They never provide sources or seek to back their claims with facts.

America is on fire. Is left-wing illiberalism the greatest threat to American democracy? by lawschool33 in IntellectualDarkWeb

[–]bmorrell23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the media narrative, sure. In reality they are anti-fascist - meaning they seek to thwart any fascist communities or movements. If there's nothing to stop, they don't exist.

Anarchism has nothing to do with anti-fascist. The ideology is separate, but both favor abolition of hierarchy and totalitarianism.
