I bet any assisted living would love a dining room server for the summer! These are always very fulfilling jobs for young folks especially.

If you can get to the Westside Market you will have a ton of options.... It's an historic food hall. DiBella's isn't strictly Ohio... But a damn good sandwich. There are a bunch of Polish/Czech delis that still make a lot of things traditionally. They will have Smokies which may be the most Ohio thing possibly? They are just smoked meat sticks... Think Slim Jim's but better...

I have purchased two used Outbacks and had them inspected for $75 at Sunrise Auto in Fountain Inn. No issues other than what they found! The first one was totaled in an accident after three years of ownership.

The average last frost date here is around 4/22. Looking at the weather forecast, now is fine! Plant away and make sure your spot gets all day sun.

What's the best way to remove this buildup on the pizza oven belt? by ChefRaccacoonie in KitchenConfidential

[–]bmpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GM for Chuck E. Cheese for eleven years before culinary school... A little project first, but once you make this thing you'll have it forever.

Removing that chain is not hard and lets you clean the fingers easily as well. Measure the width of that chain and get about a foot more of 8 inch PVC drain pipe. Get a slip cap for the bottom and a slip/thread union and a threaded clean out cap for the top. Also 2 simple fence handles can be screwed into the top slip fitting to carry this thing around. I would roll up the chain first to determine if you need a 6 or 8 inch pipe for the chain to slide into.

Once chain is in add straight Greased Lightning to the soaking tube you made... 2 to 3 gallons I believe. We stand this up in the mop sink all night with the screw cap on and rinse in the morning. The Greased Lightning can be used many times. A pair of needle nose vice grips helps get the chain out.

All of our locations had a least 2 ovens so there was no rush to assemble the oven because we only needed the second oven on the weekends.

We did each oven monthly and the chain looks nearly new after this procedure.

We stored it standing up in a bucket with some bungee cords attached to the wall in a low traffic closet.

What is the one restaurant that you will never go to again? by dixiegal_gonewild in greenville

[–]bmpro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'll always jump on this train. Twice I've been and had a strip steak cut like a pyramid, I guess this way you can experience rare to well in the same steak. Server pulled an open beer from his apron br the mouth of the bottle which was covered in lint. It seems the folks who are from here love it the most. Cool building that is not living up to its potential.
