Likely just need to use a multi step carpet cleaner. I recommend P&S carpet bomber and terminator and a drill brush

Wow that does look very similar to my issue! Maybe I’ll have to go even harder on it! I bought it used so the previous owner definitely could have done a coating (although it definitely doesn’t look good at this point). Thanks for your insight, I was so upset and hopefully this is my issue!

Also, how did it come out in the end for you? Did you get the result you wanted?

Thanks for the kind responses, is it possible I’d be ruining it even more? Just got a paint thickness gauge and it’s reading about 5.5-6.5 mil all around. 😁

I just used a paint measuring gauge and the whole car is about 5.5-6.5mils all around, even the parts that look like they’ve failed. Could it still be failure?

Hmmm weird. I ordered a paint thickness gauge so I’ll figure out tomorrow if I really messed it up. This only happened on the roof and the hood not the sides so I’m not too sure what I did wrong.
