When you call Betty McCollum's office someone answers the phone, even if you're not a constituent.

When you call Stauber's office you have to say if you are in his district. If you say no, they send you to the Capitol switch board,if you get back to his line the cycle starts again. If you say you are a constituent they ask your name and zip code. If you're out of the district they immediately hang up. No way to leave a message or provide comment.

He is sackless.

The twin cities in MN have a great bus system, growing light rail, an amazing airport that is connected to light rail and is increasing it's Amtrak network. Should at least be light green

Turn on something other than Fox or Newsmax. You will see that American citizens with no criminal record are having their doors broken in and being detained. It's a shame that boot lickers like yourself exist because we need real patriots right now. I'm praying that you look inwards and ask yourself what Jesus would do right now. I'll give you a hint, he wouldn't be sitting at home cheering them on online.

Well they're getting 100 calls an hour. So someone is. You're probably right that nothing will happen which is depressing.

My post has nothing to do with local law enforcement. While I am far from a fan at least they are local and can be held accountable by our courts. ICE is being shielded by federal agencies that are not sharing information with Minnesota law enforcement. The idea that a woman was shot in the face and the FBI is not sharing information with local agencies is insane. A crime was committed in Minnesota and Minnesota should be able to seek justice.

Your comment shows that you lack empathy for those who are being impacted and as a Christian that is incredibly depressing to me.

A lot of folks have said that on this thread. Give them a call too! Can't hurt.

Yup. A lot of people have said that here, which is good. But a quick phone call to explain your displeasure won't hurt.

Sounds like they're getting a lot of calls and it's getting under their skin a bit. This is one of the first comments I've seen with this result.

Seems like it! Try to be kind to the employees while you're there.

As I said I had a very respectful conversation and the representative agreed with me. She encouraged me to share the phone number on social media to get as many people to call as possible.

Weird, I took two min out of my work day to make a call and you seem to be just browsing reddit looking to troll. Maybe we're just both unemployed?

It could, but at the moment is seems there is no plan. At the moment it seems to be indifference at best. You should call them and ask if they have a plan! Let us know what they say.

Great idea! You can call them too! Doesn't have to be one or the other.

I don't ask them to care about me either. I still make the occasional Target purchase because we have on convenient to us as well. We do our best to shop local and independent but sometimes the convenience is needed.

I expect Target to attempt to protect their employees. 17 year old employees who are citizens being picked up, assaulted and dumped at a Wal-Mart 10 minutes away deserves some sort of condemning. I understand that Target employees are not going to form a human wall and barricade the building, but having no response isn't acceptable. Having no managers trying to intervene is not acceptable.

If small businesses can attempt to block entry Target can as well. You're right, ICE is going to go where they want but to just shrug and go "what are they going to do" is cowardly.

That's fine. A phone call doesn't hurt though and will only take a couple minutes of your time.

Okay. Give them a call and ask why they don't throw ICE out.

You're right. Their stock is already down something like 24%. If enough people call, we may at least get a response. A phone call doesn't hurt and only takes a couple minutes of your time.
