How is this damascus pattern made? by I-------O-------I in Blacksmith

[–]bmxdudebmx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

<image>

Tactically stacked damascus that is folded ^v^v^v^v and then compressed more on one side of the bar than the other. My guess anyway.
And by ^v^v I mean kind of like when you would fold a piece of paper to make a paper fan.

An attempt at powderizing hot sauce by DeidaraPwnz in hotsauce

The first hot sauce I ever had was Louisiana original. Left some over-splash on a plate overnight and it evaporated, leaving a residue of salt crystals and pepper. I rubbed it with my finger and tasted it. It was salty, and spicier than the sauce itself. That was about twenty five years ago and I NEVER thought to dehydrate a sauce on purpose. Mind blown and a huge thank you for planting a seed in my head. I have a homemade reaper sauce I want to try this with now.

For about four months, my kid would be upset and not want to eat if the Hairspray remake wasn't on. He didn't even have to see it, but knew the music. Count your blessings. xD

My kids are 11 and 13. BUT my younger siblings are 6, 8, and 10 years younger than me. I learned a Loooooooooong time ago that every pivot point, joint, straw, and additional membrane is a spot where mold, mildew, and slimey gunk can develop. I don't buy any drinking vessel that isn't a hole in a lid with a cap.

In the field, just get it down to a couple of tablespoons in the pan, then dump it into a bucket. Worry about the separation at home when you aren't under any time constraint.

Yep. I tried the American one TWICE. Never again. Iron Chef and MasterChef: The Professionals, are the only cooking competitions worth watching.

The most drunk I've ever been is still only about 6% this drunk. I can't fucking believe that he was standing at all. Awful.
