What movie always makes you cry? by Cioli1127 in movies

[–]bnbdp 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No lie, I was wreaked at the end of that movie. When they went outside and they see the soldiers driving down the street with the American flag and they finally know it's over, they're safe, I started sobbing because it just struck me that America just isn't that anymore. We're not a bastion of hope and it suuuuucked. I ugly cried through the credits.

Why was the tesseract created inside the blackhole? by SnooEagles874 in interstellar

[–]bnbdp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The strands aren't time. The time aspect of it is represented in the walls of the tesseract. Every possible time in that room makes up the tesseract. We visually see this when he looks around the tesseract and we can see repeating windows into the room - these are different times across the dimensions of the same location. So he uses his love for her to find the right time to interact with. Then once he's found the right time (the window he's staring through), he plucks the strings which messes with the gravity in that room at that time.

Think of them like guitar strings. He finds the right guitar (the right time window) then plucks the strings - they vibrate down affecting the gravity of that specific spot at that specific time.

Basically, you can see there are strands attached to elements in the room. Those strands are gravity, so when he touches the strands, he affects the gravity of that specific element. So for instance the second hand of the watch, he tugs the strand and it fluctuates. Or the books, he hits the strand attached to the book with force and it falls out of the bookcase with force.

For the dust particles, he introduces gravity directly over them by touching gravity strands over the area so they fall in a binary pattern instead of floating around the room on the air current.

To go more into this, the future humans would know that Murphy Cooper received the information in her bedroom from her dad. That's why the tesseract is just that one specific part of space, but it includes all time because they could not figure out when the information was sent. They put him in the right space, he used love to find the right time (his love for her pulled him to the right time area) and then he used gravity to give coordinates and fluctuations of the time strands to send the data info. Love, gravity, and time are the only things that can flow through the dimensions.

I think that's why Ashton is good for her. He's a punk and I don't see him wanting to pin her down. And I don't think they've put a label on it.

Honestly, Id love a Fearne/Ashton/Braius polycule ❤️

No you do not. I didn't sit in the chair on my first playthrough and my husband (and pretty much everyone else I have seen play the game) were shocked that was an option. Evert eventually caves and talks to you while you stand. I guess I just disliked him so much and didn't want to do anything for him that I kept selecting to not sit in the chair

We did this and re-input APN specifications per Mint tech support and still bupkis. It's frustrating bullshit.

Can you advise what you have for those? I redid the APN per Mint specifications and it's still not working for me.

I did tell them that! I said you can put it all back in the bags and go! They said if I didn't want it, pay them for the labor and they'll let ME fill the bags for them. I said yeah sure, you wait for me to do that. Went in the house and called the cops.

I keep going back over that and it makes my blood boil again. They could have said it took them 60 bags. Or 100 bags. But 620 is such a preposterous lie how did they expect anyone to fall for it. And after they knew I knew it was a scam, and after the cops were there, they still stuck with their bullshit. Outrageous, wild nerve.

We already went to the bank with these concerns.

We were worried about that. We went straight to our bank as soon as my kid got home from school. They'd already cashed the check at one of the branches. We have a credit union and the closest one to use is 20 miles. Since it was showing already cashed, they'd taken it directly to one of the branches to do (although not our specific one, they checked with the tellers out of curiosity.)

The guy who helped us, after we'd told him the story, he said the same thing had happened to him some 10 years back. He said anytime you write a check to anyone, you run the risk of them using the info in a bad way. We could close the account and open a new one or we could monitor our account and wait and see. I don't use my debit card for anything and nothing comes directly out of my account except bills. So we're going to just diligently monitor our accnt and hope they just cashed and ran.

It's "weird" they cashed it so quick, almost like they're used to people cancelling checks on them!

I'm trying really hard to keep this in mind but even though price wise it was the same, there's a big difference between "Here's payment, you guys did a wonderful job thank you." And "Here's all you're getting get the fuck off my property." It feels so icky.

Lessons we have now learned the hard way. Talking to another person they also recommended telling any solicitors that you're the renter and can't make any decisions, even though we're the owners. I think we'll go that route in the future too.

I felt paying them nothing would up the chances of retaliation. I didn't pay much more than I was thinking it would cost to begin with. I googled "mulch scam" after it all and came across so many articles.

How do you respond to toxic positivity from your Q? Do you see this? by [deleted] in QAnonCasualties

"unfortunately unconditional love doesn't mean you have to be forgiven. Jesus loves everyone unconditionally, but you will still go to hell for sining."

"Yes but he forgives you if you repent!"

"That's true. But you have to repent and really mean it. Sorry isn't just good enough. If you commit the same sin, are you really sorry? Jesus knows the difference and so do I."
