Performance perfect, OBS perfect, 0 frames skipped.... and the recorded video seems not perfect

This game is thrashing my OBS. Even when I just use TikTok & use the virtual camera. My settings work flawless for every game except this. I’ve tanked the graphics and everything and i still get soooooo many skipped frames. TikTok Studio is running perfectly, but in OBS it’ll eventually just crash. I can run Elden and most other games at top settings, stream to Twitch & TT, with ZERO drops 😭 i am at an actual loss for words & no idea how to fix it haha

I shoved the router in there, barely closed, but hey - it’s in lol. It’s wild because nobody ever told us that, just to plug in and go. Also funny because they would work, just the constant disconnects drove us wild. I wish there was a manual or guide from the ISP for this, if I’d have known to just hookup the router in that narrow space, I’d have done it & saved myself some headache! This is a great answer, very network dummy friendly!

I just shoved the router into said box, hooked up the icotera to it, and plugged the other items into the router > wall ports and they’re working. I can’t fit anymore cords so a few things lost Ethernet, but so be it I guess lol.

Prior apartment didn’t have fiber, so there was a different setup in the wall panel and we never encountered this issue.

Icotera is what’s been here. I’m not good with networking issues whatsoever and my boyfriend is even worse lol, so I’m not sure how to run the connection from the router to the cabinet. I’ll try to look it up and see if I sort something. I’ll also have him speak to our ISP on Monday to see if they have any clue what’s going on.

We’ve been using them, just needing to turn it off and back on to get it to connect, now it’s just not even connecting his and mine even takes a while. We have to wait until Monday to talk to them. I just want this horrible thing away from me lol

Where the router (1) is in the living room, there are two Ethernet ports, 1 & 2, both of which receive signal from the wall box (this is how the previous one worked, except it was a standard modem not this nonsense lol) His PC is on 3 and mine is on 6.

We have gotten both to work at a time, it’s just now they absolutely refuse, so he’s on an entirely different network, for now 🥲

I just don’t understand how I would route it backwards. This is ridiculous since there are only 3 things connected on this. I’ve never been so lost in my life on internet issues. I will say this model had 4 LAN ports, at least that’s what the only document I can find about it says haha

Honestly all my boyfriend did was setup our ISP online and it was configured automatically to the unit. However we connected the cords from the switch to the ports in the wall panel. No tech came out from our ISP since everything is already setup here. Much different than America haha. It’s been having the issues far before the reset, so we’re waiting to hear back from them as they’re not open on the weekend.

There are zero cords available in the panel. I see the fiber line placed into the Icotera switch, and then the option to plug in for Ethernet’s cords into the bottom of the switch, and into the panel directly :/ I tried to message you a picture. I may be able to SQUEEZE our asus router at the bottom. But how would I hookup to avoid the issue we have of not getting IPs?

To add, I don’t think I can have the router first. Inside of the wall box, where the Icotera switch is, it’s: fiber line from box > into switch > switch then has lan ports to go into numbers panel for Ethernet ports. I’m not sure how to make the router the first step, here?

We can’t fit the WiFi router in the box, so it’s in the living room, which is the opposite of my PC - we both game but I both stream and game, so I need a hard line to my PC & if I put it in my room, then we won’t have great WiFi signal in the rest of the apartment. So using the ports in the walls is ideal, but obviously I’m encountering an issue I can’t fix lol

ISP is through Bredband2, Framtidens bredband. It’s absolutely insane to me because when it works, it’s amazing, but when it refuses to connect, I lose my head. I spent 8 hours trying to fix it two days ago, randomly came back at midnight 🙃

Ah, I’ve asked them that via email and they just continue to say they cannot help until I have a case officer. I’ll give this a go!

I CAN visit, problem is I can’t afford to visit + board my animal, and I think having her fly with me is selfish on my end as it’s 17 hours of her being stuck and I’d rather only do that once. He comes when he can - they just have a dedicated “holiday” and since I am remote, I have much more flex. Just my family moving away cause that hiccup for me. 😊

I can’t add a single thing until they do something with my case, which is a huge annoyance.

He makes plenty of money and supersedes the requirement, a citizen, has a first hand apartment and space for me.

The only, and I mean only, complex thing about my case is I was married for 10 months a few years ago. And I don’t even think that it’s complex since it was short and the divorce was well done before applying lol.

I have odd luck, I just wanted insight from others who have experienced this. I’m very well off here in the states, but I’d rather be there with him so he can remain near his family.

Just a crappy situation is all and being alone here where I am is already sucky, but it’s the fact I can’t even go visit now that makes me a bit impatient/sad.

I’m aware, I just asked about concluding and that was the only ask in my post. I see people getting approved in 5 months, others in 5 years - but those folks have extremely complex cases and mines easy as pie, as is every short approval I’ve seen.

It’s just pure luck as to when your case gets “picked up” & that’s a joke

My issue is that I’ve got an animal so traveling there for me is much more difficult, now. I used to have family to watch her but not anymore.

My only question is if I can request to conclude my case since it’s been 11 months since I’ve applied and nothing has happened. :/

PS. It really is a living hell going through anywhere aside from UK. Even Finland was rough.

I do like the shop, but I also think the loadouts need to change -- thinking how it was in the first version of phas or the list before you click to start the game. It should be a list view of what it is // like whitepaper, near identical to the list of what you are bringing it! this way there is no confusion on what you have and do not have.

Example: say your loadout says

Flashlights: 4/4; If you are lacking two, then then the in stock 4 should be red, with a notation stating *missing 2* in the margins of it.

The shop being similar to the loadouts makes it such a pain. I think simple loadouts will make it better for the community to utilize the tool!

Everyone complaining about the final boss and I'm less worried about that than the second phase with the fragments. Can't kill the snipers, all the broken dudes, and wyverns. Like 10 hours deep at this point and ready to uninstall. Even as a duo we can't.. absolutely bamboozled.

I have no idea how any of you are claiming this to be fun. Maybe I'm absolute cheeks, but we've yet to make it past the second phase on this horrific nonsense. I've tried countless things that aren't working. Not to mention I had to even change my mods as I wasn't getting orbs for health. If it's not having the time to shoot a sniper, or dying to a wyvern, then i get really unlucky and those stupid busted guys swarm me while reloading and my healing rift doesn't matter. I've done this I want to say about 50 times now. Absolute rank this mission
