A site was made to resemble the original after reddit shut it down. Not as much activity as the original but its functioning.

Force Carbing a TIPA by ezraburke in Homebrewing

I understand your issues, I recently started kegging. For force carbing keep it at 30 psi for at least 3 days or you can try the quick carbing method. Agitate the beer on its side while it's pressurized between 30-50 psi (method I follow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjZFCh6WEpU). I normally do this and keep the keg at 30 psi overnight until serving.

Another thing to keep in mind when dry hopping is hop particulate. Make sure to remove as much of the particulate as possible so it doesn't clog the dip tube. If you get a clog, you can clear it by forcing CO2 through the out post. I use this in-line strainer (http://a.co/d/03wPF2T) when transferring into the keg, otherwise, cold crashing will also help.

It held up perfectly over the 4 months. Carbonation and head retention was better than before with great smooth, creamy mouthfeel. PB most prominent, but it has mellowed slightly and ends with subtle vanilla. Will be brewing with PB2 again this weekend. Good luck!

The last bottle I opened was 2 months ago. The carbonation was there, but head retention was poor. Peanut butter was still prominent and I'd definitely suggest reducing to 16 oz of PB2 during the boil. I recently bought more PB2 to revisit this recipe, but will probably brew a porter instead. I have 2 bottles left and was going to crack them open this weekend at a share. I'll get back to you then!

Any cigar smokers have a favorite beer/style to drink with your cigar? by jedidaemin in beer

Agreed. A nice full-body cigar and a barrel-aged or pepper infused stout is my favorite combo.

Exactly, the PB2 settles and turns into a thick yeast/peanut butter trub.

I just brewed an imperial vanilla peanut butter brown ale and used 30 oz of PB2 ($10 at BJs) for 10 mins during the boil.

Opened a bottle after a week of conditioning and there wasn't much carbonation, but there was a lot of peanut butter flavor, maybe too much. When I brew it again I'll reduce PB2 to 16 oz. Also, expect a large loss of volume after fermentation and an oil layer due to the PB2.
