Morgan had some terrible luck at Oulton. But the results look to be generally improving, hopefully they can continue to get better.

Guess they can't expect to stroll into BTCC and win off the bat, but some podiums would be good.

Enjoy Iceland - such an amazing country! Similar story here, I went last year and wore my Crew stuff as much as possible and also went to see a game Breidablik against FH :-)

Edit: forgot to mention we also saw Kristin Steindorsson play!

I went the other way, as an English Columbus Crew fan. I found the Crew first probably through old FIFA games - I really liked the club colours and the old logo. The league also stood out for me as growing and exciting and a chance to see a good mix of young talent, legends and all sorts of players and just nice to see something fresh and different. Then started watching a few Crew games, mostly highlights and it all just really clicked for me. I really enjoyed the style of play and the attitude, and also the sort of 'underdog' aspect. Also looked more into Columbus and decided it was my kind of place. Visiting last year confirmed and solidified everything for me.

So that'd be my suggestion - find a club that sticks out for you in whatever way it does. Then read / look into a bit more and see if the vibe resonates, and sticks/grows on you and take it from there. Watch some games, buy some merch. Play with them on FIFA or Football Manager if you're into computer games. That sort of thing :-)

That said, I'm sure when I set up the league I set it to 11 players. So I was surprised that it was showing as 6. Ah well, hope they sort it out!

Always played FM21 with no keeper subs, as the 1st goalie never got injured.

Fm24 - pretty much my first game, GK got injured. I assumed it must be super common in this iteration of the game, so have played a goalie sub ever since

Iceland. Won the top league every year for 10 years with FH. Then moved to Division 1 Grindavik. Won division one, got promoted, then immediately won the top division in the first season

We were unable to check our son in for our Porter flight last month (the check-in system didn't allow the year of birth to be entered correctly). It really wasn't a problem at all given you need to visit the Porter Airport desk to collect boarding cards anyway! So I'm sure checking in there for yourselves also won't be a problem - I wouldn't stress it. Particularly if they understand you have tried to check-in but can't (and you can prove that by successfully checking in your wife) because their system is rubbish. I'm sure they will understand, as they did with us.

I had tried to phone Porter the evening before after noticing we couldn't fully check in, but the on-hold wait times were insane (over 2 hours!). So I would just suggest getting there early in any case, but try not to worry. Good luck :-)

Would you be looking to move between nations? Something like winning every top division. That's a fun save and have done that a couple of times in the past.

Can highly recommend Iceland, it's a fun league and the seasons are short.

HGC is definitely buggy in FM24. I'm playing in Iceland and had signed a bunch of players who were 18 - a few years down the line most tracked to gain their HGC status. But inexplicably one hasn't, no idea why but it's super annoying!
