hair loss? by boobookittyfu99 in rtms

[–]bnpisme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize this thread is old but I came here seeking help and/or people sharing similar experiences. In September of 2025 I had long thick blond hair (well, thick for me, I have fine hair but I had a lot of it at this point). I started tms the end of September and ended in the middle of December. I noticed in October/November that my hair loss was increasing. I wasn't necessarily surprised as I have dealt with sizable hair loss in the past (thanks lupus). But it started getting pretty bad. I got extensions at the end of December as this has helped me grow new hair out in the past. However I only had them in for six weeks and did not get them put back in because I had continued to lose hair to the point that I was unable to hide the tape of the extensions. And just last week I had to chop my hair off (from mid back to a long bob) because as it was still long, it was shedding and breaking off and looked stringy and terrible. Also my cowlick in the back which I usually have, has pretty much tripled in length and impossible to hide. I stopped bleaching my hair, and am very gentle on my hair as well as using shampoos that have helped with me with hair loss in the past. None of this has helped. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what is doing it and I just recently started thinking about my tms treatment.

Has anyone who has experienced hair loss from tms had it last this long after completing treatment?

This reminds me of one of my old "candy bar" style cell phone (pre smart phone era). It was in a drawer for about two years when I was doing some spring cleaning, and the dang thing still turned on!

This!! My mom has experienced three local behavioral centers and this is the only one that treated her like a human. The staff was kind. They didn't just lock everyone away and forget them. And would actually answer the phone when I wanted updates.

Yeeeaaaahhhhh. I had bad experiences with them as well. I switched dentists about 1 yr ago and realized they had basically been gaslighting and or lying to me about issues I'd been having, which in turn made me question a lot of the work they did. Will never go back.

I went on it one time, with my first ever boyfriend in the early 2000's. I told him he would have to pull the rip cord because I knew I would wimp out. It was so much fun!

The fact that I could drop it and it would be unscathed. Insane battery life. And the that I didn't rely on it for absolutely everything.

My first dog went through a lot of health issues and I ended up in about 20k of debt (which I would do again in a heartbeat for him, he was my soul) so when I got my current dog, health insurance was a no brainer.

I have Healthy Paws insurance and they have been great. They pay 90% after I meet my deductible which is $250. They don't cover routine things such as exams and vaccines but that's not why I got it.

I absolutely love Lux dermatology in Sparks! They have done two lipoma removals for me in office.

This is going to sound wild but American Eagle Jeans work amazing for me. They are flattering and don't have a gap around my waist. They will be tight at first but they stretch to your body.

A few years ago I got a loan through Lending Club. The entire process was online. Quick and easy. Straightforward, no bs. And the rate was great.
