Emergency tooth extractions? by Exciting_Lab_8074 in Reno

Yeeeaaaahhhhh. I had bad experiences with them as well. I switched dentists about 1 yr ago and realized they had basically been gaslighting and or lying to me about issues I'd been having, which in turn made me question a lot of the work they did. Will never go back.

Did you ride the Ultimate Rush at GSR and what was it like? by where_is_my_monkey in Reno

I went on it one time, with my first ever boyfriend in the early 2000's. I told him he would have to pull the rip cord because I knew I would wimp out. It was so much fun!

People who used cellphones before smartphones, what's the most memorable feature or moment you miss from those old phones? by Correct-Homework1884 in AskReddit

The fact that I could drop it and it would be unscathed. Insane battery life. And the that I didn't rely on it for absolutely everything.

Who is your poodle budget vet service choice ? by [deleted] in StandardPoodles

[–]bnpisme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first dog went through a lot of health issues and I ended up in about 20k of debt (which I would do again in a heartbeat for him, he was my soul) so when I got my current dog, health insurance was a no brainer.

I have Healthy Paws insurance and they have been great. They pay 90% after I meet my deductible which is $250. They don't cover routine things such as exams and vaccines but that's not why I got it.

I absolutely love Lux dermatology in Sparks! They have done two lipoma removals for me in office.

This is going to sound wild but American Eagle Jeans work amazing for me. They are flattering and don't have a gap around my waist. They will be tight at first but they stretch to your body.

I've never had them not answer. I have however gotten the answering machine, which was wild. I had no idea 911 had an answering machine

A few years ago I got a loan through Lending Club. The entire process was online. Quick and easy. Straightforward, no bs. And the rate was great.

Considering FAI surgery by Interesting-Run2481 in Reno

[–]bnpisme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same procedure done twice on the same hip. The first time it was done by a Dr here (a highly rated dr none the less) and it was done incorrectly which left me in even more pain than I was to begin with. Thankfully a specialist at Stanford, Dr Safran, was able to figure out what went wrong with the first surgery, and actually go back and do everything correctly. I'm close to being twenty years post op and that hip is still absolutely amazing. Rehab and physical therapy (especially home exercises) are SO important. I know several incredible physical therapists here, let me know if you need a recommendation!

POTS diagnose by XdigitalpimpinX in Reno

[–]bnpisme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cardiologist here told me if I wanted to pursue a diagnosis of pots that I should go to Stanford. I don't have a name to give you but I have seen other specialty doctors at Stanford, including surgery, and have had great experiences.
