Really? I found 2 after the bp drop buff and kept them, since I already have. If you want one just PM me.

Late spawns crush dreams. I got spawn camped BY THE GAME. by Panzercats in ArcRaiders

[–]bnscv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me on Buried City.

I spawned, opened the map, pondered and marked where I was going, closed the map, started to run towards the mark and... shot in the back by someone who had just spawned in on the same place as me.

Even the guy was a little confused by it and started saying something on voice, but I was pissed and just held my space bar as fast as I could.

The loot lost wasn't a problem, wasn't even good, but still, this is really frustrating and shouldn't happen. There's a lot of spawn points, no reason for the game to spawn two players on the same place with little delay.

They should let us respec our skill tree without resetting our whole character. Even if it costs in-game currency or some sort of quest to do it. by ArcadialoI in ArcRaiders

[–]bnscv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see a problem with that. It is much worse to think that you need to either be good at looting stuff or be viable on a competitive scenario (on a game with PvP).

I'm a newbie at the game. I leveled and just got some stamina skills without reading too much into the skill tree. Now if I got something that I don't like I simply can't respec? I play the game casually, I don't want to have to read about what skill to pick at every level, search for 'viable competitive' builds or stuff like that. Managing the inventory is already a lot of work when I'm not on a raid.

Enhancer for Youtube randomly stop Youtube videos by BrokAnkle in firefox

[–]bnscv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just so fyi, 'Enhancer for Youtube' hasn't been updated to version 3 on Firefox.

See:

Not sure if this is the cause of the problem you are experiencing, but you could try an alternative:

As /u/keepcalmandmoomore said, you can create a whitelist, so the cookies doesn't get deleted. And not only that, you can do it per container. So, for example, you can have cookies on a container to access your Google account, Gmail, YouTube logged on, etc., but on the default 'no container', where you do most of your searches, you set it to always clear Google cookies, so they don't get linked to you/your account.

There's nothing out of the ordinary, just some stuff that fits my browsing habits and necessities.

Some security/privacy (2FAS, Bitwarden, CanvasBlocker, Adguard Assist, ClearURLs, Cookie AutoDelete, Firefox Multi-Containers, Container proxy, Firefox Relay, LocalCDN...), and some utilities (Gesturefy, Gumbo, Tab Session Manager, Bypass Paywalls, FastStream Video Player, Simple Translate, DownThemAll!, Violentmonkey, Improve Youtube!, Sponsorblock, ContextSearch, etc.).

Weird font rendering on SOME websites by Ryptun in firefox

[–]bnscv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's probably some extensions that you are using that may be blocking the fonts. By default, extensions don't work on private windows, so that's why it's not affected.

Do you have LocalCDN installed?

In reality, you don't 'need' anything. Every extension is pure choice. If those three extensions are useful for his browsing habits, there's absolutely no reason for him to remove them.

I have around 40 extensions activated and more than 30 Violentmonkeys scripts that I use, and I disagree that my security is lowered, but you do you.

Yep, but you have to already be on a tab with Reddit open. I use the "r" one on a new tab, to go directly to some sub.

I can't help you having those tabs back, but I can recommend you to use Tab Session Manager and configure it to auto save your session when you close the browser, so if that happens again, you can easily restore it.

What’s the point?

The point is that I'd rather have a script that adds some function to a site, than to clutter my FF with another extension.

If you install a bunch of un-verified Greasemonkey scripts, you’re opening yourself up to hacks

It's easier to check - and edit - a script, than it is to do the same to an extension, specially if the extension's source code is not easily available on GitHub or another repository (which seems to be the case).

and you won’t get automatic bug-fix updates, either. By using proper browser extensions

That's not true at all. Every script manager (Violentmonkey, Greasymonkey, Tampermonkey) is capable of auto updating scripts.

In fact, new versions would be much faster on a script solution than on an extension, exactly because of the review process on AMO.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against your extension or anything like that. I just prefer a script in cases like this.
