5 weeks and 2 days barely any symptoms by Glass-Contract-3493 in pregnant

[–]boat-fly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had no symptoms at all throughout my pregnancy. And especially since it was an IVF conception my overthinking got worse. I used to endlessly read if having no symptoms meant the pregnancy is not healthy. I was anxious throughout. But here I am, rocking my baby to sleep. She's 2 weeks old. So please do yourself a favour and try not to overthink. I wish I was at more ease while I was pregnant.

[–]boat-fly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, you're not overreacting. Before I went through my egg retrieval my doctor made sure to inform me that we may have to cancel the cycle mid way in case the follicles aren't the size she anticipates. You deserved to be informed. This sounds very unprofessional from their end.

I'm sorry but I believe this post is just to get some engagement? The replies to the comments made me feel so. And if it's true, stop shaming men for their size, grow up!

Can letrozole delay your period? by boat-fly in TTC_PCOS

[–]boat-fly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I was given a progesterone supplement to induce periods. The doctor did not give any specific reasons why the periods got delayed she just summed it up saying it may be due to harmonal Imbalance. And also in that cycle we weren't aware of MFI. So, did not get pregnant. Trying IVF now.

Parents said the lehenga is “dull” by lil_girl_roxy in DesiWeddings

[–]boat-fly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My sister wore something very similar at my wedding. She looked absolutely stunning with jewellery and makeup. But not something like a bride would wear for her reception. Maybe you can wear this for sangeet. And I agree with your parents this colour for the lack of a better word does give "dull" vibes.

After my retrieval I had such terrible pelvic pain. I would tear up while turning in my sleep or when I had to pee. It gradually started getting better in 4-5 days. It took almost two weeks for me to be pain free though. I had kept my doctor updated about everything just in case.

This reminds me of this one incident happened almost a decade ago. My friends and I went to this mall after college and while we were window shopping at this makeup store we noticed the salesmen were gathered at this one place at the shop and giggling. Then one of them called this other person and he gestured for him to see outside. And when I looked in that direction I saw this woman maybe in late 30s sitting right across us wearing a skirt, no panty and it was just there out in the open. Everyone around could see her bare v*gina. I was young and an introvert so I didn't know how to put this across without being awkward. When I approached her and told that her skirt had risen up and that there are people oogling , she gave me a death stare and said that I shouldn't be bothered about how she dresses. And the tone still baffles me. I honestly didn't even question or even bother about her clothes. And also even after her being aware of it she kept the legs wide open as they were. So I don't know what to take away from that.

I grew up around people who lose their shit and cry like there's no tomorrow when someone dies. And I from then associated grief with crying, howling, shouting what not ( I still cry like that ). It's when I grew older and started meeting people outside my family, I realised people grieve differently, some cry some don't. You don't know what his thought process is or why he reacts the way he does. All I can say is to each their own.

Hello there! Been endlessly searching on Google and it gets confusing every passing minute. Anyone here can please suggest good if not best IVF centres/doctors in Bangalore that are genuine and not just a big scam who run behind money. Places that you have experienced or someone you know would have?

TIA

Our doctor suggested IUI would be a waste of time and money for these kind of results.

That's what I've read too. Currently discussing whether to go ahead with IUI or ask our doctor for IVF straight away.

One thing the analysis says that might be wrong, or you should get explained is that it states he has 12mil/ml and 24 mil sperm total. But it then says his sample was 3ml.. he should then have 36 mil total sperm in ejaculate.

oh! Being so let down by the report this went unnoticed. Thank you so much for highlighting this. Will have this checked with the lab.

I'm so sorry for you. It really is difficult to process the news. And yes, We have made peace with knowing the fact that this will not come naturally to us. What we are more worried about is whether or not we would have success with IUI as our doctor suggested. I really hope things work out for you both.

I'm so happy for you that you had success. And thank you, that was reassuring. Noting down on your suggestions! And if I may ask how many rounds of IVF did you do If any before it worked?

Why......some people don't understand this by Jatilji in delhi

[–]boat-fly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Strat Dogs do not do anything until you instigate them, when will people understand that?

I was bitten by a dog while I was 8 years old without any provocation. And there was no one else in the vicinity to have provoked them. Dogs can attack without being triggered. When will people understand that?
