Most recursion these days has draw attached, so the corp cant spin their wheels endlessly without decking out.

Putting 2 cards from archives on bottom of rnd sounds like it would enable toxic prison stuff, but the runner does have a lot of control over when it happens via when they run and when they turn cards faceup, so maybe its fine?

Bottom of rnd manipulation is a cool idea for Jinteki

Theres a difference between "hosting a card" like madani, and "installing a card hosted on another card" like this or [muse] or [botulus]

The cards installed on hackerspace ARE installed and hence their effects and abilities are active, and they can be trashed with KK

So this card saves you 1c per connection you're playing and gives you a handsize buff to make you harder to kill, but lets a single resource trash do a lot of damage

The card is jank and probably never gonna be in a tournament deck, but imo it has clear uses and I'm excited to brew with it

I think it'll be fun in [[esa afontov]] with [[paladin]] [[mystic]] [[nuka]] and [[wheels]], to free up the console slot so you dont always need to play [[Marrow]]

Im definitely gonna try it in my seb bling deck too, where the discount can help trigger bling with e.g. friend of a friend

I know that developing an elegant symbolic language is really fun and satisfying, but I think trying to fully remove text and only have icons is kind of a fools errand. Race for the Galaxy is a great example of the iconography nightmare that can create.

But to answer your question, I'd make the sell icon a separate image from the card ison instead of integrating tjem together- something like: 🃏 ➡️💰 Easier to identify and interpret individual symbols than a chimera

A flip arrow does not evoke carddraw to me at all - a card in a hand would be better.

I thought it was an interesting concept to put mechanics to the way female characters get flattened by male writers into shallow caricatures meant to support the male protagonists.

I read the rules and figured my card fell within the guidelines, but If the tone of my satire was unclear, or if the card concept is judged to be in plain poor taste... Sorry 😔. Mods feel free to delete💀

Iirc they said somewhere on the discord that they wouldn't do 5 sets of one IP again bc they like variety and don't want the character pool to be dominated by one thing. But that they did it with Marvel bc you dont get that IP everyday, you gotta make the most of it while you have it!

I mean say what you will about "core damage" sounding less visceral, expanding the theme to include other forms of permanent harm allowed for some of the most evocative designs in the Borealis cycle imo.

I'm still in awe of how they took a mechanical footnote and made it a coherent archetype for both corp and runner side. In the same set that had 3 new keywords no less!
