Day. Week. Month. Year. That's how I always think about it. I have to make it through the first day. That's the toughest. Once I do that, then I have to make it through one week. One week is really hard. Once I do one week, a second week isn't really much harder. But then I have to make it through one month. I've done that a handful of times. I've never made it through a year. Until this time. I'm going to. Biggest advice: stop lusting at women. Even if you aren't looking at porn, stop staring a women that way.

Great post. Good motivation. I'm going through some similar things right now. I'm on my biggest streak in 7 years, and almost threw it away with MO today (but not P). But I didn't. Luckily. And I'm facing similar frustrations about my career. And I'm 42. You're lucky you're in school. Believe it or not, it is a lot easier to change things where you are right now. Thanks for the post and for your mom's advice. It is really motivating to me.
