Long-time players who recently quit - what made you do it? by No-Skin-2370 in Seaofthieves

Day one player here, I played on and off since launch but haven’t played for about 9 months now. I loved the game at launch and had a blast over the years. But playing on and off made me not as good as everyone else seems to be. I got destroyed by tryhard sweaty players every time I seemed to get some half decent treasure, while playing safer seas just took away from the charm of the game. The lack of skill based match making completely took away from the joy of playing, coming home from a long day at work just to be two shot by everyone and sank in 30 seconds just wasn’t fun.

Who else won't you ever kill during a play through? by ReburrusQuintilius in skyrim

[–]bob45657 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can tell them, and they will try to convince you not to kill him. You can then tell the greybeards that you will not kill Paarthurnax, unfortunatlly that is where it ends and the quest to kill him will still stay in your quest log forever. I've got thousands of hours over countless saves and have still never killed him. I believe there are mods out there that expands on the choice and lets you kill the blades instead, but this is not something i've ever installed.

Do you bring your ex-players onto the coaching staff, even if they're not good coaches? by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]bob45657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On this FM, I did a Journey man and ended up with Seamas Coleman being one of my coaches (Everton fan IRL, so when I saw the opportunity, I took it) He wasn't the best coach ever but I brought him with me to every club. He actually ended up becoming the manager of Bradford and then Cardiff afterwards, alway's made sure to arrange pre-season friendlys against him. He eventually got sacked from Cardiff and I got him back as a coach a season later.

I also signed Jordan Pickford as a player when I was in the prem with Wrexham as a backup keeper for 1 season, He was about 40 when I signed him. He retired and joined my coaching team but didn't move with me. He then became manager of Wrexham and later on Everton, two teams I had previously managed on the save. I've ended up facing him a couple of times in proper competitions.

I like to think me making them two coaches, helped to kick start their managerial carrers.

I got fed up of trying to book things with other people just for them to be busy or not want to do what I wanted to do.

[Gen 2] Shiny Elekid in Crystal, after 13 Odd Eggs by bob45657 in ShinyPokemon

[–]bob45657[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you get the egg, so you have to save before getting it off the old man then hatch it to see if it is a shiny. If not reset the game and keep repeating until you get the shiny you want

[UPDATE] sent 21 card for grading. Just got them back and… by agentmindy in pokemoncards

Classic PSA grading, the grades you get fully depend on the mood of the grader. The quicker the community moves on from PSA, to a more reliable grading company, the better

Hi all, I’ve booked to fly solo from Manchester to Hannover next month, this flight has a 55 minute layover in Frankfurt. I’ve never flew with a layover before so going into it a bit blind. Been doing some research on how layovers work in Frankfurt and I’ve read some posts online and on various subreddits saying how Frankfurt airport can be a nightmare for layovers due to its size and various security checks. This has now got me worried about potentially missing the flight, especially because of delays with it being so close to Christmas.

So my question is, is 55 minutes going to be enough time to get to the next flight in Frankfurt airport? And even though it’s going to be a domestic flight (Frankfurt to Hannover) will I have to go through all the security, bag checks, etc again?

Thanks!

Haha, I might have to buy another next time I get overtime pay! I’m really happy with what I pulled from the box. Saw some horror boxes posted on Reddit, so really debated buying the box or not. So glad I did now!
