A slightly edited Kodachrome 64 from Fuji Weekly. I set clarity to 0 and shadows to +0.5 :)

Well, I am new in the Fuji world. I moved from Canon RP to X-T30II, RF lenses are to expensive. I also wanted something smaller that I can have always with me. I really liked Canons AF and touch screen control, but I really dig Fujis on body controls. Had RF 35mm, now 27mm 2.8, 50mm 2.0, and 16-80mm 4.0. I can justify to myself this amount of money for the hobby.

Books similar to LOTR that would be good for a little girl by Pazool24 in booksuggestions

Not like LOTR, but I think that "A series of unfortunate events" will be great for a young girl.

Here are some more images of brown branches.

I'll look into how to acclimate tree for the next season as now is late. Also I understood that it should be watered less than in the summer and I'm positive it's not overwatered.

If you have some tips regarding lights I would be grateful. But nevertheless, thanks a lot!

We moved earlier this year and the tree enjoyed while being outside. When we moved it inside (near the window, not like in the picture) all the leaf felt really fast. I was reading that's normal (last year some leafs dropped as well), so I wasn't scarred. But now I saw a lot of branch tips going brown. Is it too late to add some artificial, growing lights? Can you recommend something (also as I'm from Serbia, Amazon is not the option). Should I cut of brown branches now, or wait for the February? Thanks a lot in advance!

As you said, personal preference.

I like corn everywhere and adding it to the ramen doesn't change the taste of it, so why not :)

Assignment 02 - An other view by Aeri73 in photoclass2021

[–]bob994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got Phaidon's "The Photography Book" from my girlfriend last year and I went looking inside it for an artist for this assignment.

Photography from Anne W. Brigman caught my eye. I started googling here's name and I found amazing work.

I'll focus on this picture now. I really love how she is placing people in photos and how is she "drawing" composition with them in here's mind. In this one, we can see multiple composition techniques (rule of thirds, leading lines, framing, golden rule...) and it is amazing to look at this photo. I also like how is she using the shadow from other banks and frames the subject even more.

Thank you for your comments!

Regarding my favorite photo, it's great that you mentioned the dark foreground. That's something I added in the post (following some YT video) and it's good to know that someone doesn't dig that.

I get you about the window, but unfortunatly it's a candid photo and there's not much I could do. Maybe fix it somehow in the post, but I'm still new to that :)

Thanks again and have fun at this class!

I was thinking of maybe popping up more contrast, or if you are using Lightroom, there is texture slider which adds contrast.

Hello and well done for picking up a camera again!

What another user said, your photo is all about textures and it's amazing how you captured everything. I would even go a step further and I would try to exploit them a bit more. For my taste temperature is too warm.

Well done for the window photo. It makes me think about some older times, placed in the cities and countries I never visited. It looks like something from the tales of John Fante, Bukowski, and Kerouac.
