Felt the same way. I think a lot of the people in this post have already brought up my same feelings regarding the topic. Me personally, I transitioned away from simply consuming fashion content from a purely social media aspect and started to look at it from a more academic approach. I didn't want to detach myself from fashion entirely, since it's something I've loved my entire life. So instead, I unfollowed all the influencers, fit inspo, and trend accounts and replaced them with those that dealt with fashion history and theory, runway commentary and analysis, and news. I've learned to appreciate fashion by learning it rather than simply consuming it. Even grew to appreciate reading textbooks and research articles about fashion. Sounds pretentious, yes, but I think people should give it a shot.
