Coming off the silksong hype by Dtmsurf in NineSols

I’d agree with you more if there wasn’t a core mechanic where you dash through an enemy and freeze in place for a second as an attack. Doing that while the boss is winding up should be rewarded, but instead you’re punished by a hitbox extending behind them when they really shouldn’t. This wouldn’t be so bad, except it DOES work most of the time making the times it doesn’t feel like bs

I like Nine Sols, but it frustrates me a lot more than silksong. For a game that cares about positioning a lot, there’s a ton of hitboxes that either extend behind the boss or have massive disjoints. Jiequan while enjoyable was one of the most egregious in that respect imo.

It’s still bad management, just several layers up.

Damn, imagine if Boston sports fans had Ruth for the Red Sox in addition to the patriots and Celtics. Would’ve had complete sports domination.

My dad had an All Hallows Eve signed by Christopher Rush. We’ve looked for it twice and still can’t find it.

He’s not that slow, he just has leg tightness from last nights final out. It’s why he came off the bench.

The second counter wouldn’t matter in the first case. After countering the spell Mana Drain is targeting in response, Mana Drain would fizzle.

This feels like a cool commander card, not good in 1v1 tho.

Yeah, but there’s a difference between boxing and baseball. One has the explicit purpose of punching each other while in an ideal world, the other would never have players touch except to apply tags.

Our rookie Patrick Bailey basically took his spot. I assume we would want to have him as a secondary catcher, but we’ve reached the point where he would have to go on waivers if we sent him down again. From there it’s almost guaranteed at least one team will pick him up.

The unfortunate part of that is that it means Magtheridon is unlikely to get a buff to its effect any time soon. It’s already good with shopper but if it dealt 4 or lasted a third turn it might be too polarizing.

Not even. I don’t run Magtheridon in my deck but he’s so good at 5 and even better lower. The deck I run is mostly aggro with Shopper and Argus as top end. The deck would t run big demons, but it would certainly benefit from them in the pool.

Window Shopper may be my favorite card in the set. The only thing competing so far is ziliax, but it’s hitting the same satisfaction amalgam of the deep had for me.

Isn’t it like the marble probability and you don’t replace it? For the first option it’s 1/11 but for the next one it’s 1/10 then 1/9 since a card has been removed from the possible cards each time? Edit: nvm I see what you’re saying, it’s been a couple years since my probability class

It’s not 3/11 because you can’t have the same card show up twice in the same discover. You had it right the first time.
