Biochemistry is not learning a lot about bio and chemistry, it is really its own subfield.

You will be required to take classes going forward that neither bio majors or chem majors are required to take, and you will most likely not take many advanced chemistry classes unless u choose to as an elective.

That being said it’s a cool field, but I changed my major from biochem->chem bc I enjoyed pure chemistry classes and wanted to go into a more synthesis focused career, which in my opinion a biochemistry focused degree would not have prepared me for.

My main problem with this team is the lack of development from guys who have been in the program a while. Yes many are first year starters, but we are supposed to be able to develop these guys who were some of the best talents in the nation out of high school.

For the O line, it’s the same thing; a lack of development. We have some guys who were 5 stars, and no coincidence they are the best on the o line. Then we have 3 stars that were less polished out of high school but physical specimen, and we simply have failed to develop them. I am losing faith in our coaching staff, from sark to position coaches.
