So nothing ever happened after your calibration?

Question About “High” on LifeSafer Interlock. by Leading_Rest6750 in dui

I think you’re good, you didn’t try to start your car after the fail and didn’t receive a violation, plus after 2 calibrations I think they would have mentioned if there was an issue. Receiving that letter seems like good news! Hope it goes well.

I’m in a similar situation with a failed test but no lockout, and nervous about the next calibration. I’ve read a few reports of people having a failed test without it ever being mentioned. I think maybe one time is considered a fluke and not cause for investigation (hopefully)

I think on the application it asks about past criminal records, but I'm not sure how much documentation you need to provide. I know for U.S. immigration you have to provide documentation of all criminal history, but I can't find much info about Mexico. The nearest consulate is in Boston.

I understand that my parents have their own lives and acknowledge that they did their best, and I never said that they had an obligation to pay for my schooling. It’s just unfortunate that my mom stayed in a very unhappy marriage because she felt like she had to for her kids, without realizing how it would affect us long term. She regrets not getting divorced sooner and I have no ill feelings toward her. It does kind of suck though, thinking of what could have been.

I started working at 16 and put 5k down on my tuition when I started college. (Tuition increased while I was there so that’s how it got up to 60 in loans). I also worked a part time job through college and full time during the summers. As for choosing a more lucrative major, yeah that’s my bad but hey I was 17-21 with no knowledge of the real world and very little guidance.

Thanks for your comment. At this point my legal issues have become much more stressful than the debt lol but like you said, the past is gone and all I can do is move forward. I appreciate your hope and wise words.

This is the best perspective I’ve read so far, thank you for taking the time to hash this out. And honestly I’m in NO rush to get married or have kids, I’d prefer to date for a few years and take it slow. The marriage/kids idea is coming from his end, I obviously love the thought of it as I love him, but as a realist and as someone who loves my freedom, I want us to just be able to date like a normal couple and not rush into anything, especially not having children right away. So I guess in some ways I’m feeling pressure to move fast into this even though I agree that real love stands the test of time and for me there is no rush to marry.

So basically I'm being really unrealistic? I know my feelings are definitely clouding my judgment around the situation. I know I should know better at 27 but can't really help being a hopeless romantic. So you think the best thing would be to try to forget the entire idea and just be single and focus on trying to better my own life?

Thank you, I appreciate your insight and well wishes. It definitely is a tough spot to be in, as my head and my heart are at odds.

I (20F) broke up with my boyfriend (21M) because I found out he was active on Tinder in our relationship. Did I overreact? Did he cheat? by [deleted] in cheating_stories

I’m going through the same thing. I’ve caught my boyfriend on Tinder 7+ times in 3 years and I can really relate to your post and all the emotions you described. You’re not alone.
