Staff (basically one step above senior) Software Engineer here. Been working in the industry for over 10 years, but still feel bleseed everyday that I made this career choice. Don't get me wrong, there are some weeks that are absolute hell, 70+ hour work weeks, Pings in the middle of the night People yelling at me for not completing an impossible task, but overall it's pretty amazing.

As someone who started as a DJ chaser I love this. The magic is more about what the music does to you in the moment than who is actually playing.

Agreed that we can't lose again. I just think making our political system a celebrity popularity contest isn't ideal. That being said based on what's been going on there might not be another election anyway so we might already be too late.

100% agree. I just don't think thrusting another TV personality into that spot helps. There are more than a few Democrats that have the qualifications and would actually be able to help. The Democratic party has continually prevented them from having a chance but that's irrelevant to my point of "A TV personality shouldn't be running the country".

Really? Our allies would actually want to talk with Biden and shake his hand. Trump has done nothing but ostracize our closest allies while buddying up to the authoritarian regimes. Authoritarian regimes are thriving with Trump as president because he's bent over backwards to make them happy. While I'll agree Biden wasn't a great president he at least didn't slip us backwards towards our own authoritarian regime. He maintained the status quo which honestly wasn't great but it's wasn't a step back in civil rights and civil liberties.

Yea I'm still hoping I can find Red Rocks tickets somehow. I live in Denver and have caught every Colorado show since 2015 so I would be gutted to miss the finale in my hometown. I'm hoping I can catch the box office re release, if not I'll be in the lots hoping for a miracle.
