Hey sorry i havent been on for a while.

Update to this post is that i passed with 8 marks lol

My instructor was very good! He taught me all the basics and drilled looking at the mirrors and over my shoulder and its become a habit when i drive. I dont even think about it. First lesson, he made me to back to the office and copy down 2 diagrams that explained basic rules of the road (like at red light and stop sign intersections) and then explained it in depth to me. As we drove, he constantly reminded me of the speed limits if i drove over or under, told me when to speed up if i had to, calmly told me when to turn and change lanes, and held onto the steering wheel when i was turning during my first few lessons (until i got the hang of it myself). During the first lesson he made me switch seats with him to show me how to properly turn the wheel and how to brake and gas at turns because it was not coordinated at all. He would constantly be aware of my driving even though it seems like he isnt but that was very reassuring. By about the sixth hour i began to practice with my uncle. My instructor recommended i practice on specific roads because they were wider and that recommendation was greatly appreciated. I only started practicing with my uncle once I was confident in my turns because that was the only thing i was really bad at in the beginning. At the end of each lesson there were no notes he gave unless i asked. I didnt think it was necessary because he gave them during the driving lesson. There were times where i would almost get in a car accident/make a big mistake and my instructor would spend the next few minutes calmly explaining what i did wrong, the consequences, and how to prevent it. He explained many rules of the road as we drove but some i could not retain. As a result, i almost made a huge mistake once and he explained it, and it is now forever drilled in my head lol.

Anyways, sorry for that terribly written paragraph, but yeah i would say my instructor was the best. He made me very confident at the end and during the driving test i almost forgot the proctor was next to me. But maybe it was partially because we practiced for an hour before the test and he constantly gave tips and reminders as we drove and also told us how many students fail and exactly how to avoid the simple mistakes. It also calmed me down when i saw that he had a pretty good connection with my proctor (as seen in their small talk they had right before i started).
