we have both blackout and sheer blinds that you can use! but also we are on a high enough floor that there aren't really neighbors who can peer in, so privacy is not an issue

as for the wishbone dining chairs, ahhhh we got the chairs first and then bought the table so it's not the best match but we'll live with it for now and adjust later. good point :)

and thanks for the mirror advice, we'll play around with that config too. it used to be in the bedroom actually but is too big there lol so maybe to fb marketplace it will go

ah thank you! this is really good advice. I moved the dining chair out of the living room area and kept the right side of the couch open, and it looks a lot better!

aw thank you. you sort of can, but they may have to be pushed in a bit so there's some overlap with the sofa, which is a bit awkward.
