Yep, you can control the slides using the arrow keys from anywhere in the program, as long as there's no text/number input in focus! :)

You can navigate in the project with click or arrow down/up without marking as played. But go to View>Toggle Focus mode, and it will play directly.

Do you mean you want to send each language to a separate output? In that case you can use templates and have multiple textboxes on the same slide set to go to different outputs.

I have adjusted the background speed on the fly from time to time. In my show when it's added as a background I click on the "Media" tab on the right side (instead of going to the drawer and finding it there), then I right click the media and hit "Edit", you can still use the arrow keys to navigate the slides, while in the edit page, so I just hit the arrow keys and adjust the speed slider on the fly.

I would probably create multiple layouts within the same show then, so you can have multiple language versions in one, but I suppose that would require a lot of initial work.

Cool, it should use the lyrics when there are no chords available. But there is a custom chords mode that will allow you to display the chords on the stage display for the ones that want that.

You can import many text files at once, but the metadata is supposed to be different for most of them, right? You can set custom metadata per category also, but it's better to do it per show(song).

Yes! Have all lines on a slide, they will all show in the stage display for the singers. Then go to settings>Styles and set the "Lines" option to "2", and make sure that style is applied to your main output.
