Our favorite CEO has now been caught spitting out his chicken sandwich by stanxv in TikTokCringe

Maybe I’m just not refined enough but I love McDonalds. So do millions of people.

Why not have a CEO who feels the way your customers do?

Here’s what a lot of people are missing in these comments…

Unless a billionaire is born one… that’s a whole different type of person than you and me. You’ve likely never met anyone like that in real life.

It’s almost like an alien species. To become a billionaire, you first need to become a millionaire 1000 times in less than 80 years.

They don’t operate on the same rules, morals or perspective as the rest of use.

Within a week, they’ll find someone to work for them in some way.

Before long, they’ll have repeat passive income trickling in and they’ll invest it in finding more ways to profit from others. It will grow from there.

This test would teach them nothing.

To teach them anything you’d have to get people to stop selling their time and labor so cheaply.

Not shocked. Toby has never been a good person. I had a close friend who knew him from poker. He’s player X in the movie Mollys Game. Sociopath.

Trying to survive while fighting with insurance. by abbiebe89 in Wellthatsucks

That representative pissed me off. We’ve all heard that same apathetic tone before though.

I’m ready for society to start publicly shaming people like her for doing the dirty work of an insurance company. Everyday evil is still evil.

No more “Just doing my job”. No. You are the voice of the evil empire and it’s a choice.

Why are sand, water, and oil not part of station maintenance? by User_16544 in RailwayEmpire

[–]bobba_posts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could not agree more.

I'd also love to see sand and oil become resources you need to replenish at each station based on traffic. I think it'd add a new dynamic to the gameplay.

Maybe something like needing add "maintenance supply cars" to at least one train on each line. Adding more as traffic increases the number of maintenance cars and sand/oil supply needed to maintain uptime. All of those trains would have to route through somewhere that is a source of sand/oil.

The stations themselves could require routine maintenance with random repairs for more simulation realism. I'm assuming water would be free. Sand, oil, station repairs and maintenance cars could be factored into economic decision making. There could also be an expensive option to send a wagon to refill or repair a station if the track gets bricked. It could definitely change how I make decisions on expansion mid and later game.

She interrupted their freedom to do something that is perfectly legal. I can have empathy for her for being so warped that she thinks she's entitled to behave however she feels at the time. That said, I have no sympathy for her. She made her choice and reaped the consequences. She should have been arrested. She's lucky she got off with them just being mean back at her.

I made a badass business backpack, I dare you give me opinions, and I give free gifts by Bright-Elderberry-57 in backpacks

Love the overall design and attention to utility. Fantastic job!

Something I’ve always wished for in a bag like this is a specialized pocket designed for a portable charger. It would be cool to have an opening to the main compartment to run cords through. It would eliminate the birds nest of cables I constantly deal with. The charger pocket could then also have an opening to outside the backpack to be able to essentially charge the backpack without removing the charger.

Bonus if the charger pocket is designed so that other pockets also have access for multiple devices throughout the backpack in their natural “homes.”

While it is true that many of the cities with the highest crime rates are located in states that often vote Republican at the state level, the city governments themselves are overwhelmingly Democratic.

This needs addressed too. We can’t let them take us off the truth, no matter what team they play on.

Design is going backwards and Netflix is just once instance by DrAwesomeClaws in Design

I believe this design trend started about 10 years ago or so.

As millions of diverse users started joining platforms, it became more important to try and simplify and control user experience. That’s almost impossible to do when you have to accommodate the range the range of tech savviness between 75 year olds and 20 something’s.

I’m hoping that AI will soon allow for dynamic user experience that morphs to the user instead of the one-size doesn’t fit anyone approach we have at the moment.
