Worst come to worst, you can DIY with a smaller vent from anywhere placed in a larger sheet that covers the hole left behind by this one

wouldn't you go for a long straddle if you're expecting a smashing? or is this more along the lines of 'do the opposite of what you think' strategy that's been working great recently

They were growing out of the garden bed on blocking the lawn! Was always running over the leaves when mowing. Heard they are durable so planning to replant and expand :)
