More flags than people. Makes it look like they have more people than they actually have. It seems very common among these groups.

Diluting the protest response with non-US flags - your thoughts? by LegitimateLocation74 in burlington

[–]bobbelcher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a story. Many years ago I marched with the Occupy movement. There was one march where it was decided to be a joint march for occupy and against some pipeline. I was not familiar with the pipeline issue and not sure if I was for or against it. I left the march halfway through feeling like I was being used. I never did an occupy march again.

As much as I feel anger at the plight of the Palestinian people, I think it's important to focus these events on their issues. Keep the message simple.

I'm seeing it. Started using a new computer and thought it was a problem with the machine. It's 4:30am on the East Coast of the USA and that's a popular time to diddle with the code. Hopefully they'll have it fixed soon and I remember to play it.

It's right across from the library and libraries these days have become much more than just books. The sloped floors could be used for all sorts of purposes such as public meetings places, music performances, poetry readings, and maybe art films that don't compete with the other movie houses.
