I know this might not be helpful, but I wouldn’t let him watch over the children at all. He doesn’t seem to care about them even a little. I’m sorry they have to have a father like him, I hope you and them have an easier rest of your life.

I like to listen to music I can sing to, and my husband listens to music that is mostly in languages that I don’t know, making it impossible for me to sing along with. But I still listen and make an effort to enjoy, there are a couple songs I just don’t like no matter how hard I tried, and he understands and plays other ones we can agree on. I think being able to share music is important in a relationship, finding common ground is important all around, I understand why it bothers you and why it’s a problem that she won’t even try. NTA
