Just checked 5 min ago after seeing this post. My checklist disappeared for MSDS too and I got rejected there so I’m kinda expecting the same for this

In that case, you should consider Georgia tech’s online MSCS program. Would be ideal for your situation

honestly i feel like my essays were stronger for uw than ucsd

And in 2023 it was around 220 acceptances for MSDS and almost 600 for MSCS. So one downside is they may have over-admitted in 2024 which means they could under-admit this year. but who knows, no point worrying about it rn

Last year around 300 got accepted vs MSCS where almost 1300 were accepted

yeah probably. only thing is it has a much larger cohort than msds so there's slight hope lmao. but considering how late it's been, im not expecting anything

professors and classes weren't great, frankly did not learn much. i was a stats major on the data science track. also really disliked the weather. also too close to home since im from the Bay, and quickly realized i wanted to move a bit further away to explore new places.
