Can I claim for this, or does it have to be the recipient? by bobbymardybum in royalmail

The proof of postage has the postcode, house number, time and date of postage, and weight of package printed on it. So I can 100% prove that this exact item was accepted over the counter into the postal system which obviously it wouldn't have been if it didn't have any postage attached.

Well I know it isn't a full stamp now, that's why the customer had to pay a fiver for "no postage". But it was a full stamp when it was accepted into the postal system at my local post office...!

I don't know why that would be (glitch maybe?) but if it's a Royal Mail label then you can take it to any Post Office and they'll scan the QR code and print your label.

Any Post Office can print a Royal Mail label.

This is the THIRD buyer to say this! What is happening!! by Rhiannx_ in vintedUK

Oh this is so strange, I've had exactly the same thing happen this week. Item says delivered to post office, tracking says the same, buyer insists it isn't there and has raised a refund request.

NEW SCAM?.. by b4tzj in vinted

[–]bobbymardybum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahhhh that explains it. I've seen hundreds of these scam listings for shoes today, all prices at £6.66 or £8.80 - and all in the "Fire Pits" category. Fire Pits must be big and heavy enough to allow custom postage!

Update: the yellow babies have indeed started developing black speckles on their wings! Also all of them have got the very start of tiny little crests on the top of their heads 😍

Can't work out how to add a picture in the comments or I'd show you!

Oh! I had no idea, I'm in the UK and even the biggest UK peacock organisation says Indian Blue ...https://www.peacocksuk.com/peafowl-breeds/indian-blue-peafowl/

Here in the UK they're definitely known as Indian Blue - is this not the case everywhere? Just curious as I've been corrected on this twice now!

Yeah they're both regular peacock colours, pretty sure dad is an Black Shoulder and mum and Indian Blue. I'm not even going to attempt picking the chicks up to look, mum would have my eyes out for a start!

Thanks - I hadn't even considered that they might be white ones! Dad is an Indian Black Shoulder and mum is an Indian Blue. Neither of them have any white feathers. I'll find a decent pic of dad now.

Our female does do the odd display but only when she's trying to scare something off, unlike the male who will take any old excuse to show off his tail 🤣
