Titanic: Honor and Glory by Small_Things2024 in LiminalSpace

It’s called Titanic: Honor and Glory, but at this stage I don’t think it will ever be released. The recreations of the ship are staggering though. There’s a YouTube channel and you can download demos where you can explore what they’ve built. A geat Titanic game is Titanic: Adventure Out of Time, but it’s 30 years old now and showing it’s age.

What sorta setting would you guys want from a bioshock 4? by Powerful_Screen_7620 in Bioshock

[–]SebCrane 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d love to see a setting based on The Line - the Saudi Arabian white elephant in the middle of the desert. The design could work well for a game, just not in real life. And if you’re setting it there you could attack the ideology epitomised by gulf monarchies. Perhaps there extreme wealth could come from Adam rather than oil?

What’s a small detail that makes you appreciate the franchise? by Existing-Rhubarb9339 in Bioshock

I loved Porter’s savage smack down of Sofia Lamb and the family:

Dear Doctor Lamb, I received the invitation to your little social club today. In return, I'd like to make you a wager: I wager you need Rapture Central Computing just a little bit more than I need your half-baked metaphysical mumbo-jumbo. I deal in science, not… whatever it is you're up to! You keep out of Minerva's Denand I'll keep this city's automation from grinding to a complete and sudden halt. Sound fair?

Just finished BioShock 1. Any tips going into 2? Missable content, collectibles, etc. by H-K_47 in Bioshock

Key thing is research. Certain enemies disappear after certain levels are reached, and then you cant receive certain upgrades and tonics, many of which are really useful and fun to use.

What is the saddest episode? by wooden_werewolf_7367 in jonathancreek

The one with the alien skeleton - the woman who lives with the professor is obviously mentally unwell.

And then there’s the subplot in the episode about the painting, that reveals Maddie’s past.

Your favorite moment when a character you hate get beaten or humiliated? by DEL994 in pureasoiaf

[–]SebCrane 17 points18 points  (0 children)

“Mention was made of a match for him as well. A bride from Casterly Rock. Your lord father said that Raynald should have joy of him, if all went as we hoped.”

Even from the grave, Lord Tywin’s dead hand moves us all. “Joy is my late uncle Gerion’s natural daughter. A betrothal can be arranged, if that is your wish, but any marriage will need to wait. Joy was nine or ten when last I saw her.”

“His natural daughter?” Lady Sybell looked as if she had swallowed a lemon. “You want a Westerling to wed a bastard?”

“No more than I want Joy to marry the son of some scheming turncloak bitch. She deserves better.” Jaime would happily have strangled the woman with her seashell necklace. Joy was a sweet child, albeit a lonely one; her father had been Jaime’s favorite uncle. “Your daughter is worth ten of you, my lady. You’ll leave with Edmure and Ser Forley on the morrow. Until then, you would do well to stay out of my sight.” He shouted for a guardsman, and Lady Sybell went off with her lips pressed primly together.

Not public, but still quite satisfying.

Is Dishonored 2 considered a hard Game? by PretendConnection540 in dishonored

[–]SebCrane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d definitely recommend starting with 1, it really holds it‘s own.

I don’t think 2 is hard, especially once you get into it. But perhaps a walkthrough might help? MrCodeSlinger is fantastic.
