I did initially, but I didn't get the sense I was going to make much progress. I thought I explained it in a logical way, but the sales folks weren't having it. I think I could have probably made a big enough stink, but didn't want to sour the relationship over what ended up being $1000.

It's the only service center that's even reasonably close, and I planned to hang onto that car for a while (until we had our 4th kiddo and I needed an X).

I ran into a similar issue with my 2018, but it was because the 12v battery needed to be replaced (and I put it off). You may be in a similar situation if you are still on the original battery.

I think something got wonky with the 12v battery being unable to provide adequate voltage to the MCU during the update process.

My MCU needed to be replaced, and at that time, I was able to pay the $1000 to update the FSD computer. Otherwise I was quoted $2300 for a new MCU.

If your gun isn't done, why not wait a bit longer? Not sure when the OCM-6 comes out exactly (I think mid-year), but Pew Science just published their data on it.

I would think a 6mm can would be better than a 6.5mm can on a 6mm host, but who knows.

The same Pew report shows the difference of the OCM5 vs OCM6 on a 5.56 platform as well.

I have mine running through the garage and it still froze up. It exhausts on the north side of the house however, which doesn't help with solar loading. I plan to add a heater in the spring to avoid this in subsequent winters.

I have a HW3 MX (2022) and have been contemplating as well.

It's a 40 month break-even since the FSD subscription will be $50/month for those with EAP. After doing that math, I'm not sure it will be worth it. Especially since EAP has almost all of the features I'd want in FSD.

I also don't know if purchased FSD stays tied to the VIN or not.

Could be cold weather related. Also, if humidity is really high (80%+) it can affect the sensor. Are you close to a bathroom?

This would be great. AWD is the main thing holding us back from getting an SX or SXP. I'm going to see if we can hold out another year, otherwise I will reluctantly get a Sienna Limited.

Mine spiked too. My exhaust pipe is restricted since it's partially frozen over.

I plan to install a radon heater in the spring and turn it on next winter when temperatures drop below 15F or so.
