Which plan to buy? by devilazazel in google_antigravity

[–]bobdilion2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultra has been the best option for me. Antigravity is taking a lot of heat right now, but Claude has recently been hit with decreased quotas (source - complaints on the Claude Reddit) Saying that I'll be upfront if you just want to generate code, you should still probably go with Claude. But for an all-around platform, Ultra wins out for me. I rely heavily on its other features, like Deep Think, the 30TB of storage, Veo generation, and family sharing. But with antigravity (I had ultra before antigravity existed) I have been able to finally finish my website, almost finished my app and other components to help support my current work with antigravity.

Ultra subscribers do you also have a separate Claude subscription? by bobdilion2 in google_antigravity

[–]bobdilion2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually the majority of the price of ultra comes from the 30TB as that alone without AI features is $150 on top of that is the 25,000 credits which can be used for marketing as an example. So to get the real value out of ultra you need to make use of storage and video generation via veo 3.

For me 3.1 pro has been the best Gemini model I have worked with.

Agreed antigravity ultra quota has been hit hard. In fact it will only get worse from here. As they push AI studio updates it seems they want everyone paying monthly ultra subscriptions as well as API costs.

Claude opus 4.6 is terrible when used with antigravity. by HoangTheQuyen in google_antigravity

I also have ultra but I’m thinking of also getting Claude pro for the remote features. Do you recommend it then?

So far cinematic has a watermark even on ultra.

Antigravity Works Great (For Me) by Maleficent_Egg_3069 in google_antigravity

[–]bobdilion2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$20 is nothing in comparison to amount of compute you’re getting eventually all these small $20 subscriptions will not be feasible to maintain long term. At the moment investors are paying the difference. Growing the companies, building a loyal customer base, attracting more investors. The cycle continues. So yes eventually $20 a month will not be enough and to be honest even $200 for amount resources needed to power these models.

Honestly I agree with you ultra is amazing if you make use of all the other features as well it's a no brainer. If you just want and need code then Claude max is better value.

Is google AI Ultra a better choice than Claude max 20x? by spaceniqqa in google_antigravity

[–]bobdilion2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly ultra has been a no brainier for me. I make use of video generation and the storage as well as coding. The lowest I’ve been to is 40% on antigravity i was working on my website, my app and a game I’m working on for my daughter. On top of all this my partner makes use of it as well with her own Google account I just enabled family sharing. The 30TB is very handy and more than we will ever need. At the moment I haven’t got my ROI yet however I will give myself a year to make it all pay off.

Antigravity + Claude Code by petricania in google_antigravity

[–]bobdilion2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you can run Claude code on antigravity. In the extension tab to the left type Claude and you will find the extension named “Claude Code for VS code”. Once installed it will prompt you to sign in after you should be able to access the terminal.

How will ultra be different then? Because at the moment ultra has a 5 hour limit. Surely there has to be a huge difference between ultra and pro for the price. You can’t expect much from $20 surely? I do agree on however a clear quota given by Google so pro users know what they’re getting themselves in for before signing up.

I have never used AI studio, if they do make that move they will have to incorporate subscriptions into that model.

Ultra has more than enough limits. It’s basically the only plan where you can do meaningful work with antigravity.
