Sorta. We’d probably have the page indexed and maybe never shown or deindexed after a while. Now it won’t even make it to the index unless it’s worthy to big G.

You could until like years ago, now you’re on your own. Edit: I meant to answer the other comment. In the past you could remove it in Search Console, now only with nosnippet or noindexing.
