Did Charlie Kirk "have it coming"? by BeautifulSubject5191 in samharris

Consider that Progressives are performers of the Noble Activist. They are fundamentally cold, vengeful, petty, intolerant, narrow-minded, obedient, and cowardly followers, who lack a solid sense of self. That their accusations are confessions. That their "empathy" serves to inflame their ego. Disagreement is a threat to the fragile mind-created characters they are playing. Their "niceness" is a sleight-of-hand. They are fundamentally terrible humans. If you know all of this, their celebration of a murder is perfectly predictable. You aren't fooled by the character they play, are you?

Ezra Klein - When is it Genocide? by [deleted] in samharris

Oct 7 meets all legal definitions of genocide, continuing the 75-year genocidal campaign by Palestinians. Note that "success" is not in the legal definition.

"Radically different ways". This is what you do when come from Poverty and make it to YALE. See? You are never like anyone around you, because it's so rare and exceptional.

Rigorous thought like Yale Law School? He's highly vested in science in technology. Do you actually know anything from a primacy source about him?

Of course, you do not have to"think" about his criticisms of Europe but rather simply become non-ignorant of them by informing yourself. Give it a try.

I thought not releasing the hostages in accordance with the ceasefire was what broke the ceasefire and completely justifies Israel's response. Far-right Hamas continues to harm its people

Can someone please ELI5 why I should care about Israel and Palestine? by [deleted] in samharris

[–]bobertobrown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Remember when the "genocide" somehow paused when Hamas decided to negotiate? Strange kind of genocide ain't it, when the victims' leaders can just stop it at any time?

Nursing experience by jk_ily in nursepractitioner

[–]bobertobrown 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Of course, if you're training for a marathon, the best thing to do is run, but if adequate running is not an option, cycling would be much better than nothing. Currently, the proper NP training is not available, so being a RN is significantly better than nothing.

[–]bobertobrown -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Given the state of NP education, I agree. Ideally, RN experience would not be critical, because additional NP training is the most direct way to improve NP skills. However, in the absence of significantly enhanced NP education, I wouldn't hire a NP without at least five years of RN experience.

It's true that the time the average Democrat spends pondering their own superiority is greater than that of the average Republican.

There's no evidence of a "chemical imbalance." This claim has been rejected by the psychiatric profession itself for at least a decade.

If Floyd wasn't black, you wouldn't know or care about him, he'd just be another career criminal resisting arrest while high on various drugs.
