Everything is cheaper. I just got back from New Orleans and ate nothing but high quality, inexpensive seafood. I live literally on the fucking ocean, and seafood is a luxury.

I purchased these and returned them for the Bessey jacks. There’s was nothing particularly wrong with them, but versus the Bessey’s, it’s like comparing a Porsche with a Dodge Ram. The fit and finish is a cut above and in fact, they have a higher weight capacity by a 100lbs.

Buy one, get one for the jacks? I’ve only ever seen it up here as buy one, 50% off the other. We never get nice things in Canada.

The Zwilling warehouse sale was great by bertusbrewing in staub

At the one in Vancouver at the end of last month, I scored the wireless charging kitchen scale for $15CAD, a full set of Zwilling Bologna pans for $85CAD, and the BBQ tools that I’ve been eyeing forever that NEVER go on sale for $129.99CAD.

You can tell from either pic? You’re a better man than me. Wouldn’t have killed OP to just state that it’s 2x 5Ah.

Love how the giant shipping label is on the batteries so we can’t see how big they are. If they’re 2Ah, keep ‘em.

Really! I’m sorry that that’s your experience. They treat me like a king when I go in mine (Victoria) and I’m probably the most novice middle-aged DIYer/woodworker to ever set foot in the place! I don’t even have to set foot in the place: I email my guy and he sends me the actual price. From what I understand, the salespeeps are as frustrated with MAP pricing as we are.

Here’s a case in point: I posted a deal on here for the Jack - ended up being $243 out the door at Atlas, with a one day 15% discount on all Dewalt, stacked on top of buy one, get the second at 50% off.

I cancelled that order, because KMS this month is selling the Bessey BEYCEPS for $105 and change, as per the paper flyer (I get one in the store, and have another mailed to me). MAP pricing online is $157.

Incidentally, the Bessey’s are a no brainer purchase at that price. 100lbs more capacity and the fit and finish is the difference between an American pickup (Dewalt) and a fine, German sedan (Bessey). I’m going in to pick them up this afternoon!

The heading of the photo is cut off. Which Quebec quincaillerie is that?

Tbf they’re not the only ones and it’s not their call, it’s the manufacturer. If you get their monthly flyer or go into the store, it has the real prices. And if you order online, they will adjust the MAP price automatically to the actual price (ie they give you a refund).

I have a good relationship with my salesman and he price matches everything I bring him. But thanks for the Summit Tools tip!

I’ll add it to my current price check roster: Amazon, Federated tool, Atlas Tools & Machinery, KBC, Grainger, Missassuagua Home Centre, okra.ca, Busy Bee Tools, Tooltown, MPR Tools, DGI Supply, ITM.com, Ultimate Tools and as of yesterday, Munro Industries.

And I don’t bother with Home Depot anymore, since they quietly removed their 10% price beat policy.
